Chapter 7: Unwanted Incounter

I sat at the park as Chris Mariah and some of the younger kids hung out.

“So are you okay?” Ruby asked.

“Fine. Why do you ask?” I asked.

“Well you seem a little moody over the last two days and you are always somewhere else.” She said.

“What do you mean? I’m always with you.”I said.

“No like your mind is somewhere else.” She said.

“Oh well I have a lot on my mind. I just need to coop with.” I said.

“Don’t take too much pressure.” She said.

I looked at her and gave her a light smile. But it faded when I smelt a scent. Then I heard a fight. I got up quickly and ran towards Chris and saw him fighting that same boy from his school.

“Chris!” I yelled but he was too far in the fight and any moment he would shift into his wolf.

“CHRIS!” I yelled putting my Alpha voice behind it.

He stopped along with the boy and looked at me.

“Ruby take Chris back home. I will be there in a minute.” I said angrily.

“Yea that’s right. Go Chrissy boy. Do as your big sister tell you.” The boy taunted.

A vicious growl ripped from my throat. On that I have been holding onto for a while.

“Where is your brother?” I asked angrily.

“Uh.H-He. He-he-he-“he stuttered.

“Spit it out!” I yelled.

“By the car.” He said quickly.

“Come.” I ordered and walked towards the far end of the park.

That’s where I saw Caine standing there looking non-chalantly. His eyes met mine and I felt my anger calm down just a little.

 “Hey Krystal.” He said giving me a breath taking smile.

“Look. I have no problems with you or your brother personally, but family wise we are at a feud. Keep your brother away from mine and we can get along okay.” I said angrily.

“What is the meaning of this outburst?” he asked.

“Look. Your brother just got into another fight with my brother. I don’t know who started it and I don’t care. Just keep your brother away from mines because he is the only family that I know is alive right now and I will do anything for him to be safe.” I said and turned on my heels to walk away.

“Oh and that isn’t a threat. It’s a promise.” I said over my shoulder and walked to my motor bike.

“Um Krystal are you mad at me?” Chris asked.

“No. But you know you have to be punished.” I said.

“I know.” He aid and looked down.

“So come on.” I said and got up.

“Where are we going?” he asked.

“To do our punishment.” I said.

“Our?” he asked.

“Yes our. I need a punishment as well. I used my Alp tone in front of him and let my anger get the best of me.” I said.

“But it was what you are suppose to do.” He said.

“Let’s go Chris.” I said.

We went outside and jogged about twenty miles through the forest. It was torture but still refreshing for us and our wolves. We turned to go back home when I smelt a scent that made me growl.

“Stay back.” I told Chris.

“Look boys. What do we have here.” A rogue asked,

“I don’t know john. It looks like a human girl and her kid brother.” Another one said.

“A very hot girl if I might add.” Another one said.

And five more came out of the woods. So now it was 8 of them.

“Well baby. Want to have some fun?” John asked.

“Leave us alone if you know what’s good for you.” I said.

“And if we don’t what are you going to do little human?” the other one asked.

I smirked.

“Cause you pain.” I said.

“Big words for a little human.” He said.

“Human? Did I say I was a Human?” I asked in fake confusion.

He looked confused as well and I smirked.

“So rogue maybe I am a human. What are you going to do about it mutt?”I asked in mockery.

He growled and lounged at me but I shifted into my wolf and killed him instantly. I didn’t take any time with the other 7 and killed them the same way.

I shifted back into my human form.

“Let’s go the other pack are on their way.” I said and ran with Chris by my side.
