Itachi walked out of the bathroom, steam flowing into the room as he wrapped a towel around his bare shoulders. He sat on the edge of Chaos's bed, watching as she flips through random stories on Snapchat.

"Having fun?" he questioned, using his towel to start drying the ends of his hair. Chaos peeked to the side, lifting an eyebrow.

"I am now," she said, shutting off her phone and sitting up. She grabbed the towel out of his hands, giving his hair a pat down before starting to wrap it in the towel. "Brise took everyone to the park while you were in the shower for some much needed exercise. It's just us, Pein, and Konan."

Itachi nodded, earning a scowl when she had to re-tuck the end of the towel in. She finished, sitting back against her headboard while Itachi laid back, letting his back rest against her chest. "So what did Pein-sama ask for his birthday?"

Chaos laughed lightly, thinking over the conversation she had with him over breakfast which, for him, happened to be a cup of coffee and french toast, while the rest ate pop-tarts. She remembered the look he had thrown Konan when she had stolen a piece of his french toast before replying, "'Peace and quiet, and for everyone to leave me alone for a day'," she said, trying her best to imitate his voice. She felt Itachi's back rumble with soft laughter and smiled, setting her chin on top of his towel-head.

"We're probably going to have a meeting later on about you guys going back," she said quietly, messing with the the flexible plastic of her phone case. She felt Itachi's breathing pause before returning to normal, nodding slightly before she continued. "I was thinking about taking everyone out for a vacation, to get out go the house for a while. I was thinking the beach, what about you? Does that sound okay?"

He turned and rested his cheek on her collar bone, smiling slightly.

"That sounds nice."

Chaos leaned into her desk chair, barely keeping her eyes from closing. Brise had gotten back around five in the afternoon with two arguing artists and a pissed Hidan, who had apparently had three of his fingers broken by Kakuzu when he wouldn't listen to Brise. Tobi was upset because he couldn't catch the cat he saw on the way back, leading the child-like man to pout in the corner, hid dig at anyone who came near him. Itachi and Brise cooked dinner while Chaos did damage control, threatening the bunch to stay quiet as to not ruin Pein's birthday.

The members had chosen to stay sit out this meeting after Brise assured them she'd tell them all about it later. That left the girls, Pein, and Konan, the latter two currently taking residence on her bed while Brise sat on her desk. Pein cleared his throat, gaining the attention of the two girls.

"If it is okay with you both, we require to stay here longer than we had thought. Itachi and I have started on an idea for a jutsu that may work in taking us back to our world, though it has just begun. We're not sure how long it will take to develop the jutsu, nor to perfect it, so I hope you pardon our stay," Pein spoke, deep voice still rumbling though he was speaking softly.

Brise smiled. "You guys are welcome here for as long as you want. It makes us happy having other people in the house often, and you've all ready grown on us."

Chaos nodded, taking a sip out of her coke in hopes the caffeine with help keep her awake. "You guys are always welcome here. Plus, I'd rather you guys take your time to get it right instead of rushing through and getting hurt somehow."

"Thank you both, so much. We don't know what we can do to repay you for the kindness you have showed us during our stay," Konan said, smiling sweetly at them both. Chaos grinned.

"Well, you both could agree to go on vacation with us," she said, gaining the three's attention. "I was thinking of taking everyone down to our favorite beach before the cold weather starts, and I really want everyone to come. It's really pretty and fun down there, and easier to get Kisame, Tobi, and Zetsu out of the house without causing everyone in the community to flip a tit over three giant, strange-looking men."

Pein and Konan looked at each other, thinking over the idea. Brise cleared her throat.

"I'll take the noisy ones in my car and let you guys ride with Chaos."

"Deal."

Chaos flopped into her chair, yawning loudly. This effectively gained the attention of those present in the living room.

"We're going to the beach next week," she said. Brise was currently going through houses to rent in her room, hoping to find one with four or five bedrooms. A few of the members cheered, Tobi breaking off into a game of twenty questions, wanting to know everything about the beach and were they were staying. Sasori lifted an eyebrow, looking away from Chaos's phone just in time to see her smirk.

"Sasori's so excited about this. He can't wait to rot in sea water and get swallowed by sharks."

He rolled his eyes. "Haha. The sharks would only come after me because you'd taste like garbage."

She grinned. "So you're saying that even sharks want to avoid you? Damn Sasori, have some confidence in yourself."

"Looking at you gives me every ounce of confidence I need."

"Oh? Am I that inspiring?"

"No, you're that ugly."

Chaos pouted. "Now that one was just mean."

Hidan face palmed. "I can't believe I'm fucking stuck with these dumb asses."

Fun Fact: my favorite beach is now nasty and full of drunk people all the time, I'm so sad bc I'm not gonna go back next year :(

also I'm currently phoneless?? I broke mine halfway through October and I'm stuck using my iPod (which is shit) so that's why I'm always replying to comments and stuff later than usual. the fact that I can't just look up shit whenever now is killing me ugh (I'm the person that googles everything lol)
