*RAIN*

~~8 Months pregnant~~

I opened my eyes slowly, awoken by a sound. I felt the sun shining on me, making my bod feel warm. I looked around the bright room and frowned when I discovered Roc not beside me. Just when my eyes wandered over to the door Roc walked in with a baby carseat and bags of clothes.

"I did some more shopping while you slept." He said.

I laughed, itseemed like he had developed baby fever. Every day after work he came home with more and more and it started to pile up in the new nursery. We agreed we wouldn't use...the other one because it just felt wrong.

"Go put it in the nursery ok baby?" I directed him.

"Sure, sure. I'll be right back.

I lifted my shirt revealing my huge bump and let the sun shine hit it. She moved around me and softly started kicking. When Roc came in I told him and he rushed to come and feel.

"She's getting stronger." He said.

"Mhhm. Oh! Roc on the nightstand are the invitations for your friends to the baby shower."

"Oh Rain it's ok, they don't need to come."

"Of course they do!" I snapped at him. "Roc they're still your friends and I like them now..."

He laughed. "Rain you're such a bad liar!"

I laughed in response and shrugged. "Well you still like them...that matters. I want them to come Roc, please."

"Alright, if you say so." He reached over to the night stand and picked up an invitation.

"Rain aren't these kinda girly? The pink glitter, teddy bears, and pillows."

"Well Roc we are having a girl."

"I know, but still. The guys are ganna laugh at these."

Tears built up in my eyes and I sat up. "So so like you hate them! I thought the little pink pillows were cute and I just!"

Roc wrapped his arms around me and laughed. "Oh baby you're so emotional right now."

I laughed too and wiped my eyes. "I know, I don't even know why I am crying!" I laughed some more and then was over come with another feeling.

I wrapped my arms around Roc's neck and kissed him hard. He held me close and twisted his fingers in my hair. In the blink of an eye we were apart again.

"Roc I really want some pickles and ice cream."

He groaned and stood up. "Dang and you got me all excited."

I blushed and held my stomach. "We're sorry."

"Yeah you better be."

He walked over and kissed my bumb before gently kissing my lips.

"I'll be back with your ice cream."

He left to get it and I started to watch TV, already getting impatient for my most common craving. Pickles and Vanilla ice cream.

"Here you are my darling." He said as he handed me my bowl with a big scoop of icecream and a pickle stuck into the center.

"Thanks. You're pickig my dad up from the airport later right?"

"Yup."

"Ok thank you for being so helpful."

"Oh no, thank you for being with me."

I tilted my head, not understanding. "Elaborate on that please?" I asked.

"Rain I have put you through a lot of crap. I don't deserve you or this baby, but I am so grateful to have you both."

I smiled and brushed hair behind my ear. "Roc stop ok. You deserve me as much as the next guy."

"No. Rain. No I don't and you need to see that. You're a blessing, and so is our child, and if I ever hurt you again please leave my stupid a**."

I laughed and moved closer to him.

"Ok. But here's a solution...don't hurt me again."

He frowned and looked away, his sadness was starting to over come my happy mood.

"Roc look at me."

He turned to me and still didn't smile.

"I love you ok? If I wanted to leave you I would have already."

"Ok." He said nonchalantly.
