The Curse Of Five

Chapter 7

The girl under the horrible spell took her child and stayed with her until her funeral a year later.

Amber

The days seemed to draw on. Every day Gale and Ryan would meet me and sometimes courtney in the woods.We would practice her powers and drawing skills but nothing seemed to work for days I pondered on what the problem was. Then one day it hit me.

Kortney was talking to ryan and Gale about how my powers started.

"She practically flew out her bedroom window. the next day she set out to figure out what it was our mom was in grave shock but we all knew it would happen sooner or later.

Anyways so she went to the woods in this very spot and sat down for months on end to figure it out by the time she did it was late november it was a warm day warmer than usual she did it she harnessed her powers a ring of frost was left from where she was sitting. From then on she-" I cut her off.

"That's it! Kourtney you're a genius my powers started to show when I harnessed my powers Gale you flew. But not like I can it was a different kind of flew like... Telekinesis I've heard of it before but I have never seen it. Try it!"

She did she tried focusing on my necklace trying to take it off or move it and she did! My necklace floated off my chest but wouldn't remove itself for around my neck.

"You did it!" Ryan was practically bouncing off trees. he acts the same way cortney did when I learned mine. "Wow Thats Amazing!" She cries.

The next few weeks flew by. The more she learned about her power the less she came. One day I decided to take her to my place.

I flew up to her bedroom window at around 2:30 A.M. On february 20th. I taped on her window numerous times but nothing worked at long last I Decided to turn up the heat literally I turned her room into a sauna. She started to toss and turn. Finally she got up to check the thermostat but it still said 70 degrees. Turning around she went back to her bed to throw off her covers but as she did she noticed me and almost screamed but I put my finger up to my lip. I am not sure if that is why she didn't or if it was just a mental decision she opened her window. I crept into her small pink room.

"What are you doing here!" She hissed. "I want to show you something." "Right now it's... 3 in the morning" She snaps. "well then we better hurry." I take her arm and jump out the window she screams. "Shut up and float!" I demand. I am not strong enough to carry both myself and her. At the last minute she does. We are about 3 inches off the ground when she does. Now I can fly free.

"Are you crazy!" Maybe I am. "Yes!" I smile over at her. "Where are we going?" With her free hand she tries to pull her bathrobe tighter around her. There is a cool breeze and it feels nice mixed with the warm weather. The sky is a perfect blue,beckoning me forth. Once we reach the darkest part of the forest I put us down. We walk for a little while until we reach a small cave big enough for about five people comfortably. "Are you going to tell me what we are doing here now?" Gale is getting impatient. I think she may have gotten a little motion sick on the way here to. "I decided since you show me your power so much it's only fair that I Show you mine." I scramble around my cave and look for some things. I take a piece of ice (which is kept frozen by my powers) and a single leaf. I place the ice to the right of the brown leaf. I sit down in the center. In the distance I hear the brilliant callings of a wolf. That's my cue. I put myself into this position so it looks like I'm about to meditate. I put forth all of my energy and concentrations on the leaf to the ice. Turnings leafs into ice. This should create the first frost after about a half hour The whole ground is covered in frost. Gale watches in amazement as White crystals creep up the sides of the cave.
