Orion's Pov-

Light peaked from my windows, seeping in through the cracks of the curtains trying to give life to my darkened room. I groaned not wanting to give any reginition to the sun, though little by little it was already blinding me.

Of course last night had been a disaster. Before the police had came I was heading upstairs to "declare my love" to Ianthe as Christian had said. But the problem was that I was pushed downstairs by a frantic group of people. "The cops are here bro!" Someone yelled. Plenty of us turned back around the second we heard that.

I was a little upset, having to change the plans of telling Ianthe exactly how I felt. She probably thinks I'm the antichrist, or just pure crazy. There was a knock at my door, my dad peeked his head out saying, "You decent?". I buried myself under my covers muffling a yes.

"Ben! Tell Orion he'll be late for school!" Kathe- I mean "mom" yelled from downstairs.

"Dad, why is she still here?"

"Because I love her. Now get up and get ready. It's bad enough I have a hungover son." With that said he left, shutting my door behind him. I stared at the ceiling for a few moments, thinking. I wanted to skip school today, but seeing that it was a Friday that would be pointless.

So I got myself up, and finally got my shit together and went to my sucky school.

As I made my way downstairs I see the Wicked Witch of the West and my dad going at it again, I groaned inwardly and quickly walked out the door.

"Orion!" My dad called out to me. "Yeah dad?" I gritted my teeth not wanting to see the sight before my eyes. Dad looked at me up and down, saying "You forgot your shoes."

"I forgot my...oh!" I looked down and realized I wasn't wearing any shoes. Smiling sheepishly I went back upstairs, put on my vans, then went to my sucky school.

I hope I don't make a fool out of myself.

"Hey Orion," Christian said in a sing-songy way walking beside me in the hallway. I didn't answer, considering that I was too busy trying to find Ianthe. Christian caught on and groaned stopped abruptly and putting his hands in the air exaggeratedly.

"Why are you so obsessed? Seriously, it is so not good for you. If you think Ianthe's cool as shit- because she is, then go talk to her! Stalking is never the answer."

"You've talked to her?" My eyes lit up at the thought of her.

"Umm yeah, last night. We were all together kinda, except you know I hung out with the Adkins and her friend Lotus; who might I say is so ho-"

The bell rang; signaling another day of torture given by teachers who have personal calendars to fuck our lives up.

God I just love High School.

First period was Science and social studies or some shit like that. Christian and I both had that class so it's the only reason why I remembered it. For almost 15 minutes Mrs. Wiggins gave a two day PowerPoint of her newborn baby (Author: THIS HAPPENED LAST YEAR!1!11!!1), I could honestly care less so that gave me just free time to think.
