I dragged my suitcase down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. My parents were standing there. My dad had my plane ticket in his hand.
"Now listen to me, Olivia Grace Kane, if you get arrested or become pregnant, good luck staying alive. Be careful. I want to be able to see my little girl in time for the college season. Anyways, have fun, sweetheart." He came over and kissed me. My mom smiled, tears filling her eyes.
"I will miss you. Bring me back a nice boy with a stable job and a nice house and car." I died laughing on the inside. There is no way I'm focusing on anything, but partying, flings, partying, partying, and partying.
"Okay. I love you both. I have to go now." I was going to miss them, but I need to leave this place. They hugged me and I told them not to cry.
I grabbed my bags and got into the cab. We went to get two of my other friends, Sara and Lauren. Sara was the inked up girl that looked like she belonged on the beach. Lauren was a cute, little brunette girl made to impress the guys. I, on the other hand, was normal. I had brown hair and eyes to match, nothing to make guys' jaws drop. I guess the only thing I had to offer was book smarts, excluding math, and an extensive vocabulary. Yeah, but what guy wants that?
We arrived at Sara's house. I went up to her door and knocked. Her older brother, Alex, opened the door. God, someone save me now before I fall. He is the definition of sexy!
"Hey, little girl. Hold on, let me get Sara." Yeah out of the group, I was youngest. Only by a matter of months, though. They were all 22 and I am stuck in the old enough to drink and gamble, but still called a little kid, 21 year-old zone. Sara signaled me to come in. Alex was hugging Sara, of course with one of his infamous beanies on. He came over and hugged me, too. I mean he was nice to me, but I never thought he liked me as a person.
"You two be good. I will be purchasing weapons and I will have them in case one of you get arrested or anything else." Sara rolled her eyes and walked with me out to the cab. We got in and Sara smiled.
"I am so beyond excited to leave this place. I want to party and drink every night. What about you, Ms. Good Girl?" I guess I was a little bit of a good girl, but I'd hate to admit it.
"I don't plan on getting totally obliterated every night, but I also don't plan on driving." She laughed and shook her head.
"Oh silly Olivia, you won't touch a drop of alcohol this entire trip."
"I'm just not a person who likes to drink. I do plan on a fling, though. Ya know, tanned, toned, and totally sexy guy." She nodded.
We stopped outside of Lauren's. Sara knocked, while I followed behind. Again, her smokin' brother answered. I swear to God I only have crushes on my friends' brothers. Lauren grabbed her luggage and tossed it in the cab.
"God, annoyance after annoyance. I can't wait to let loose. I plan on partying and getting smashed. This is going to be the best summer ever.
