(Lauren's pov)
My due date's approaching! I can't wait to get this child out of me and I mean that in the nicest way possible. I just want to hold my little bundle of joy in my arms. I'm so excited to be a mom and Adam will be the perfect dad.
Olivia knocked on the door. Her and I were heading out for lunch, because I have a surprise for her. She's been so sweet to me ever since she moved here. It's been about two months since she moved here and her and Andy got back together.
We sat down at the table in the corner of the cafe. Ever since Adam announced my pregnancy and Olivia and Andy went public, we've been the newest stalked celebrity girlfriends.
"So how's thing been going with Andy?" I asked Liv, sipping on my sweet tea.
"Amazing! I just can't describe how much I love him, ya know?" She said, smiling. I loved t see her happy.
"I'm so happy to see you all giggly and smiley. Well, I found out the sex of the baby!"
"What's it going to be? Will I have a little girl to spoil or a little boy to spoil?" She said, almost spitting out her water.
"Well, it's gonna be a... you'll have to see." I said, teasing her.
"I hate you so much, you jerk." She laughed.
"But I do have another surprise!" Her eyes widen.
"Seriously? You're getting married?" She said, gasping with, what I assumed to be, delight. "Both you and Sara are getting married! How perfect! I'll watch you two get married and hug your husbands."
Olivia knew what she wants and I know what she wants, too. She wants to settle down with Andy. Never in a million years would Olivia drop little hints about getting married. Or would she?
"Have you been dropping hints?" I asked, curious to find out.
"Yes. Lately, I've been saying things like 'Oh that's a pretty dress' every time a wedding commercial comes on. Or I'll say 'What a cute baby or what a cute couple.' I don't know." She sighed.
"Do you want really want to settle down or is it a little bit of 'Hey I want that, too'?" Her face sort of dropped.
"I love him, I truly do. I would love to be Mrs. Andy Brown, but I'm not sure he's ready for me to be his wife." She said.
We talked for a little while longer, but about things that were a little happier. She talked about her internship at Topshop and how well that's been going. She also said Andy was planning a romantic dinner for the two of them tonight. 'Hm, could today be the day?' I thought pleasantly to myself. I sipped on my drink and, nodding along to every word that came out of her mouth.
"What if Andy is going to pop the question tonight?" Her smile grew bigger.
"I never thought of that." She said, happily.
"Really, Ms. I-Think-Everything-Over-Ten-Times? You didn't think of that?" She giggled.
"How about we go back to my house. I may have a huge stash of wedding magazines under my bed." Olivia said. I had no choice but to laugh.
"You sound like a pervert. No one stashes magazines under their bed, unless they're porn mags." I said, grabbing my jacket and heading for the entrance.
We walked into Liv's apartment. I sat on her couch, while she grabbed the books. She came out with a huge stack. There had to be like fifty books!
"Wow, do you even have a life?" I said, laughing at her.
"Okay, well, I have problems. I need to know what dress I want before the wedding, so I can base the color scheme, venue, and other things off of it." I just grabbed a book.
After about twenty minutes of looking, I saw the perfect dress.
"This is it!" I said, smiling at the dress in the book.
"That's gorgeous! Want to see my dream dress?" Andy walked in as soon as she said that.
"What are you two doing?" He said. Olivia quickly closed the book.
"Um, nothing. Aren't you home a little early?" She asked, hiding the book under her bum.
"Yes, because I wanted to surprise you. So surprise!" He said, hugging her from behind the couch.
"Well, you surprised me. Lauren and I were looking at wedding magazines." He smiled.
"You would look so perfect in white." He said, kissing her cheek. Jesus, if this is how this boy has been talking to her lately, why is she worrying?
"Okay, I'm going to take a shower. You two have fun." He said, leaving us to read the magazines.
"Has he been talking like that all week?" I asked, in an obvious tone.
"Holy hell no. Lauren, I think today's the day!" She said, smiling.
"I hope so, sweetie. Well, I'm going to leave you two alone. Have fun at dinner tonight. Call me when you get home." I said, getting up and grabbing my bag.
"See you tomorrow!" Olivia said, waving goodbye to me.
When I was walking to the car, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I hurried and got my phone out. I dialed Adam.
"Ads, I think it's time!"
