(Olivia's pov)

I sat on my bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. Lauren walked in and sat down with me.

"I know it sucks, but maybe Andy's right. You would have been heartbroken to see him leave and you stay at home. I promise that there is someone better for you." She hugged me.

"I know there are always other people, but it's too hard to just say 'oh get over him'. Lauren, I loved him. He was my first love. I can't get up, leave, and go back to school and forget about him. He was perfect and I-I don't know what happened." I started to cry.

"I just want to be alone right now, okay?" I told her, trying to put it sweetly. She nodded and left.

I sat for a few more minutes, until I saw a piece of paper. I grabbed a pen from the drawer and started to write a letter to Andy.

Dear Andy,

I hope you waited until you were on the plane, flying home. I know we're done and over with, but I just wanted let you know that you hold a place in my heart. Even though you broke it, you were my first love and no matter how hard I try, I will never forget you.  I know you will be chasing your dreams, while I attempt to do the same. Maybe you were right that I would have been even more heartbroken to see you leave for months on end, but I'm brokenhearted now, so either way, it hurts. There are a lot of 'what ifs' in life, but there is one thing I can reassure you upon: you are an amazing guy. Years down the road when you are doing areana tours and I'm working in some office, most likely, I will look back on this summer and realize that even though we broke up, you were my summer love. I loved you, Andy and I always will.

                                                                                                                                     Love, Olivia x

I put the letter in an envelope and sealed it with a little kiss. Letter in hand, I told the girls I was leaving. I walked to the guys' house, hoping they were still there. I knocked and Andy answered. He smiled and looked down at my hands.

"Olivia, what are you doing here? I thought you were leaving today." He said.

"I just wanted to give you this." I handed him the letter. He was about to open it.

"No, don't open it. Don't open it until the plane ride home. It's not meant for you to read with me in front of you, it's meant for you to read when you're lonely or reminiscining back on this summer." He nodded and came a little closer. He caressed my face and looked into my eyes.

"I love you, Olivia. I always will.  Why can't we make this work?" He asked, voulnerability in his voice.

"Andy, I do, too, but I just can't let my heart break, again. Maybe somewhere down the road, we'll meet again. This isn't where our story ends." He passionately kissed me.

"Goodbye, Andy. I love you." I said, pulling away. I walked down the walkway, turning to see Andy still standing there, a single tear sliding down his cheek. I walked a little faster.

I got home and got packed some more. After I finished, I went into the living room.

"Where were you?" Lauren asked, grabbing her suitcase.

"I was saying goodbye to someone. Where's Sara?"

"She's getting packed. She is moving in with Christain. Apparently, they're madly in love." She said, sitting down. I nodded.

"Liv, I have a question." Lauren said, looking at me with a worried look.

"Sure, what is it?" I said.

"Since you graduatue this year, can you move to London with me? Ads and I talked about it and I wanted my absolute best friend in this world by my side." I smiled.

"I think I could always transfer schools. Deal!" She gasped and cheered.

"I can't wait for my bestie to move in with me. You can keep me company while Adam is on tour." I saw a sly look come across her face.

"What?" I asked, raising my eye brow.

"Oh nothing. I just am really excited."

We all grabbed our luggage and met in the kitchen. Sara grabbed two shot glasses.

"Well, here's to the best summer ever!" We toasted to that.

"I love you all and I know you two will be there when I have this baby." Lauren said.

"I hope you two will visit me, so we could go surfing and walk along the beach." Sara added, placing the glass on the table.

"Okay, but you two have to promise me that you won't rub it in that you are out of hell aka college." I said, getting a laugh out of them.

We all said goodbye at the door. Two taxis pulled up at the door.

"I guess this is it, for now." I said.

"I guess it is." Sara sighed.

"I love you both." Lauren said, hugging us and leaving for the cab. I said goodbye to Sara and went to my cab.
