(Olivia's pov)
I was watching t.v. and doing some writing, when Lauren came in. She sat down next to me.
"Hey, Lauren." I saw concern in her face. "What's wrong?"
I scooted closer to her and wrapped my arm around her shoulders.
"Olivia, I can tell you everything, so I want to tell you something." I nodded, signaling her to proceed.
"I-I think I may be pregnant." I saw a tear stream her down her face. I automatically wiped it away and hugged her.
"That's great! Wait, why are you crying?"
"I haven't told Adam, if I am, because I'm afraid he won't want it or leave me." I shook my head.
"Honey, Adam loves you for better or worse. I can see it in the way he looks at you." She smiled and hugged me.
"You're right. Do you have any pregnancy tests?"
"No, but we can surely go get some." I suggest.
We walked to the drug store about two blocks away from us. We walked in and asked where the tests would be. The cashier told us where they were.
Lauren grabbed one and started to walk to the counter. All of the sudden, Adam popped up out of nowhere.
"Hey, girls." Adam looked at Lauren's hand. "What's that?"
"It's a-a pregnancy test." He looked puzzled.
"For which one of you?" Lauren looked like she was on the verge of tears.
"It's mine." I sighed, knowing Lauren just couldn't tell him just yet.
"Really? Congrats. Hey, Andy's somewhere in here, do you want me to tell him the big news?" I shook my head.
"No no no. I'm not quite ready to tell him. I also don't want him worrying." He nodded.
"Okay, well, I'll see you two tomorrow at the house. Congrats again, Olivia!" He walked away.
"Thank you so so much! I don't want him to know. I'll tell him tomorrow, if I am." She walked up to the counter and paid for it.
After we got home, Sara was up and sitting on the couch, as per usual. We tried to sneak away from her.
"Where are you two going?" She stood up and raised her brow.
"I was going to take a pregnancy test." She smiled.
"That's awesome. Can I be there when you find out?" She asked, with a puppy dog smile.
"Yep, I need my two best friends. This could change my life and I need to know that you guys will support me through this."
"We will. We will be there, even if Adam isn't. I know he will be, though. He truly loves you and I know that he'll do anything for you." She smiled and went to take the test.
We waited for three minutes, talking about things like names and what sex we hope it will be. I wanted it to be a boy. I always wanted a boy before a girl, although, I don't care either way. Sara and Lauren wanted it to be a girl.
"I don't care if it's a boy or a girl, but I am spoiling it." I said.
"Aw, you and Andy will be the ones to spoil them and Sara will be their fun aunt." Lauren concluded.
"For sure." Sara agreed.
The buzzer went off and Lauren stood up. She took a deep breathe and called us into the bathroom. We all looked at the test.
It was positive. Lauren cried and hugged us both.
"This is it, I'm going to be a mother." We smiled and jumped around. She said she was going to tell Adam tomorrow at the going away party thing.
