Chapter 7 - babysitting Luke Ryder

I've just found out that the boy I'm babysitting is actually Luke. Great, I have to spend the day with Chase. How fun, note the sarcasm.

When I entered the house it was quiet until out of nowhere Chase tackles me down to the floor.

"What the fudge cake!" I yelled.

"Shit sorry, thought you were Tori.

"Oh oka- wait why would you want to rugby tackle Tori. Are you two together?" I asked.

He started to laugh hysterically at this. Oh and did I mention, he was still on top of me. He had a nice laugh though. He would always tilt his head back and sometimes close his eyes when he laughs. Shoot I'm thinking about him again.

"She's my cousin Sarah" he said in a 'duh' tone.

"Ohhhh" I replied.

We started to laugh again, we soon stopped when Luke came down the stairs taking in our position. Sugar.

"Whoa, can't you do that somewhere else" Luke gaged. Aw that was cute.

I quickly jumped up on my feet and dusted off the imaginary dirt on my clothes. 

"That wasn't what it looked like, I swear" I said awkwardly.

Chase stood there laughing and a gave him a glare. That should shut him up.

"Did he tackle you thinking it was Tori?" He asked.

This just made Chase laugh even more.

"How did you know?" I asked in return.

"I've done it to him" Chase answered for him.

We all just stood there laughing for a couple of minutes then we put in a film to watch. Maybe this won't be so bad after all.

Chase's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about what just happened. I was on top of Sarah. She didn't even care. I felt the same feelings as when I kissed her the other day. What the fuck is she doing to me, I've turned into a pussy.

"Chase??" Sarah said bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Hmm" I said realising she was talking to me.

"Go make us food bro" Luke answered for Sarah.

"Why do I have to do it" I groaned. I hate making food.

"Look ill come with you, just show me where everything is. Okay?" She offered.

"Fine" I said getting up dramatically.

"I'll set up the game" Luke chirped.

Right now we were in the kitchen making pizza.

"Why can't we just order" I said looking at our triangular pizza.

"You now what?" She started "that's a good idea" she giggled.

God that laugh. She would always close her eyes and then bury her face into shoulder. Why the fuck am I thinking about her laugh, again?

"Yeah it is. You would have probably poisoned us with that pizza, plus it's a triangle" I smirked and started to laugh.

She then started to pout, I'm not going to lie it was cute. But I didn't have time to think about it because she put the pizza in my face.

"You bitch!" I yelled while getting cheese of my face.

"Dude, I'm a female human" she giggled "not a female dog" she smiled.

"You know what?" I said to her with a smirk.

"What?" She asked while I stood closer to her.

"I think you want some pizza too" I said leaning in.

She stood there perplexed for a couple of seconds then pushed me back.

"No I don't cheese boy" she laughed handing me a towel and walking back into the living room.

I wasn't actually going to kiss her but she didn't give in. I almost kissed her. Does that mean she was letting me kiss her. What the fuck? Why am I even thinking about this? I don't even like her and she doesn't like me. We are having a prank war for gods sake.

What is happening?

We were now playing mario kart and eating take away pizza.

"Whooooo!!!!" Sarah cheers while doing a victory dance.

"Damn your good at this game" Luke said with a pout.

"No she's not" I challenged, giving a smirk.

"Dude, I just won 4 games in a row. Are you stupid?" She asked with a smirk of her own.

"Yes, very stupid" Luke laughed.

"Oh really?" I said getting closer to Luke.

"Shiz" Luke says running for the back door.

Sarah just giggled and sat back down while I chased Luke around the back garden.

After a while my mom came back and Sarah left. Today actually hasn't been bad at all. We have just been messing around all day we even had a pillow fight, where Sarah fell off the bed and Luke had to get her a plaster to put on her head. It was actually quite funny.

Today hasn't been bad at all.

Sarah's POV

Today was actually really fun. Apart from the fact that I have a plaster on my head from falling off Chase's bed during the pillow fight. It was actually quite funny though.

I can't believe I almost let Chase kiss me.

*flashback*

"You know what" he said with a smirk.

"What" I asked him while he stood closer to me.

"I think you want some pizza too" he said leaning in.

I stood there perplexed. I saw him leaning in, he was inches away from my face. I almost let him kiss me. Then I put my hands on his chest and pushed him back playfully.

"No I don't cheese boy" I laughed handing him a towel then walking back into the living room.

*end of flashback*

I almost kissed Chase Ryder, again.

This has been one hell of a day.

What he doesn't know is I have the perfect prank for him. I stole a picture of him from when he was like 14 and I'm going to share it everywhere. Even though his plan didn't work, doesn't mean mine won't.

Tomorrow is going to be really fun. Especially when there will be a picture of Chase on everybody's lockers at school.

I think I might actually win this prank war.
