Chapter 22 - birthday surprise

4 months later

Me and Chase have been dating for 4 months now. Today I was having a party to celebrate my 18th. I can't wait.

Prom is also a month away. Chase still hasn't asked me yet, but the girls said he will.

I decided to invite Lily and Tori over so they could get ready with me and Jenna. I'm so excited.

"You have to wear a this" the girls all scream finally finding me an outfit.

I huff and then take the outfit from them.

"Fine!" I yell walking into the bathroom to change.

I didn't want to wear anything over the top but the girls insisted that I wore something special, so in the end I gave in.

I put on the dress and looked in the mirror. I loved it. Even though it was short, it wasn't too short. It was also a little see through but didn't show anything. Plus it was white and I had perfect shoes to go with it.

When I walked out of the bathroom all the girls gasped.

"I didn't think it would look that good on you" Jenna huffed.

"Thanks?"  I questioned her.

"You look amazing" Lily says and sits me on a chair.

"Now we are so doing your makeup" Tori squealed getting the makeup ready.

After an hour of sitting in this chair they were finally done. You'd think since there were 3 of them they would have been faster.

I looked in the mirror and gasped. I've never looked this good. Usually I never go all out on the makeup and hair, but the girls said that I am an adult now so it's about time.

I had a little powder and blush to bring out my cheeks with some pink lipstick. For my eyes, the girls went for a black smokey eye affect, black eyeliner and mascara. And finally they curled my hair and styled it up for a change leaving some curls bounce down loosely around my face.

"Wow. Thanks so much guys. I can't wait until the party!" I screamed.

"Well we should probably head there. It's going to start soon" Jenna said looking at the time on her phone.

We all grabbed our phones and purses and headed out. I decided to bring a pink bag to go with my lips and I decided not to bring a jacket since I was going to be inside.

"Let's go!!!!!!" We all squealed heading to the party.

We got to the venue and it was already packed. The party was in full swing when we entered.

I found Chase wearing his usual attire. Black jeans, plain grey t-shirt, topped of with his black leather jacket. As usual he looked hot.

"Hey babe. You look gorgeous" he greeted giving me a kiss.

"Thank you. You look good too" I said intertwining our hands.

"Happy birthday" he whispered as we walked around to find everyone else.

"Happy birthday!!!" They all cheered as we found them. 

"Thanks. Now where's the shots" I joked.

"You just turned 18 Sarah" Jenna warned.

"Chill I'm just kidding" I laughed.

"So you don't want this" Chase said waving a drink over my head.

"Okay maybe one won't hurt" I said going to grab the drink.

Chase swiftly pulled it away from me. We done this for a good couple of seconds before I gave up.

"Give me that!" I huffed.

"I don't know......" He contemplated.

"Why not. It's my birthday" I argued.

"You don't look like the girl who can handle a drink" he smirked.

"Yes I can" I said going to grab the drink. This time I got it easily.

"Can you?" Chase challenged.

"Totally!" I cheered taking the shot.

Turns out Chase was right. I was starting to feel really dizzy and light headed. Why did I do this. Oh yeah, because I like being right.

Right now I was with Tori, Jenna, Jason and Jayden. Tori was completely drunk while Jayden didn't drink anything. Jenna and Jason weren't drunk either, but they were drinking.

"I'm going to take her home" Jayden said gesturing to the Tori who was trying to use a spoon as a mirror.

"Why does my head look like this!" She gasped.

"Yeah that's a good idea, see ya" I waved him off.

"Bye" he said walking off with Tori.

I started to feel like a third wheel with Jason and Jenna so I went to look for someone.

I found lily, but as usual she was dancing with Jake. They looked drunk. I decided to just leave them and look for Chase.

I have not seen him in a while.

I walked up the stairs and looked through he doors. Luckily most of them were open so I didn't walk in on anything. The others were bathrooms.

Then I found one door that was closed.

I contemplated on whether I should go in or not. I didn't want to see anything.

In the end curiosity sunk in and Chase wasn't around so he must have been in here.

I then opened the door.

I now know what they mean by curiosity killed the cat. It sure killed me inside.

Chase was there alright, but I wish he wasn't. Especially since he wasn't alone.

And I don't mean he was with some friends.

This girl surely isn't a friend.

"Chase?!" I gasped about to cry.

I didn't feel tipsy anymore.
