Chapter 21 - Answers Part 2

Chase's POV

After she left she was gone for a long time.

"Tori, where is she?" I asked getting worried.

"I'll go look for her" she said getting up and leaving.

I was still waiting and there was no sign of either of them. Then the bell rang. I got up and went straight to class without a word to the guys.

Tori then walked in.

She came and sat next to me.

"So?" I asked her straight away when there was no sign of her.

"She went home early" she shrugged.

"What, why?" I asked.

"She felt ill" Tori answered.

Liar.

"Oh really?" I challenged her.

"Yeah, I found her in the toilets. She almost fainted and she hit her head" she added.

"Is she alright?" I asked her. I think she was telling the truth now.

"Yeah. I took her home, but my phone died so I couldn't text you" she answered.

"Okay" I said and started working.

After school I decided to phone her.

No answer.

Then I tried to text her.

No answer.

Her phone was on and it was ringing but she wouldn't answer. What was wrong with her?

I decided to open my window. To my surprise she was there. I called her again.

She grabbed her phone and pressed a button, then I was sent to voice mail.

She's ignoring me.

Instead of calling again I went to her house.

Jenna answered.

"Hey, Sarah can't come at the moment. She's ill" she lied.

"So I've been told" I mumbled.

Then Sarah came down the stairs.

"Hey Jenna who's at the-" she stopped when she saw me.

"Chase" she mumbled.

"Ignoring me huh?" I asked her.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"I saw you through the window ignoring my call" I stated.

"Ohh" she blushed.

"Yeah, ohh" I sighed.

"Well I think you should come in. I'll be back in 2 hours" Jenna said grabbing her bag and leaving.

After she left we went to the living room. We sat in silence until I decided to speak.

"Why are you ignoring me?" I finally asked.

Then her face changed. She was mad. I've never seen this face before. She looked like she was going to cry and rip my head off at the same time. It scared me.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me she was your ex girlfriend!" She yelled.

"What are you talking about?" I asked her confused.

"Who do you think, Rhianna of COURSE!" She screamed the last part.

Wait, how did she find out?

"What about Arianna. yeah she was my ex, so what?" I asked her shrugging my shoulders. Bad move.

"SO WHAT?! Why didn't you tell me about HER!" She yelled.

"Because she's no big deal. We broke up ages ago" I reassured her.

"Oh so it was no big deal to talk to her again behind my back?" She asked sighing.

"She just came to apologise" I said raising my voice. What the fuck.

"Do you still love her?" She asked me starting to cry.

"No" I answered straight away.

"Promise?"

"I promise"

"Then I'm sorry. It's just......" She started then stopped.

"Just what?" I asked her. Then I walked closer to her. I then noticed a mark on her face and a bruise on her arm. What happened?

"She threatened me today and told me to stay away from you. She said she was yours and only yours" she said looking up at me.

"Wait, did she do this?" I said gesturing to her face and arm.

"Yeah" she gulped.

I then pulled her into a hug and I kissed her forehead.

"She'll never hurt you again" I promised her.
