Chapter 17 - Facing fears and friends........with benifits??

Today I was happy. Really happy.

I don't know why but since me and Chase forgave each other I feel over the moon.

"You likeeee him" lily cooed.

"No I don't!" I blushed.

"Oh really??" She smirked.

"Okay I may like him a little" I lied.

The truth was I liked him. A lot. I didn't want to but I did. I broke my promise.

I fell for the bad boy. I'm just sad that he probably doesn't feel the same way. Why would he change his image of being a player anyway. He's Chase for gods sake.

Oh shoot. I forgot that I'm supposed to meet Chase at the cafe. How long have I got? 5 MINUTES!!!!

I quickly got up and starting throwing clothes around.

"Sorry lily. I totally forgot that I need to meet Chase in 5 minutes" I apologised.

"5 minutes. Okay I've got this" she boosted.

She got an outfit out for me and turned on my straighteners. She was such a good friend.

While I did my hair lily did my makeup. I then ran downstairs to grab shoes.

"Now you'll only be 10 minutes late" she smiled.

"I guess that's better then half an hour" I smiled back.

We said our goodbyes then I ran. Really fast. I did really like Chase so I didn't want him to wait that long for me.

Since I ran I was only 5 minutes late.

When I got there I must of looked like I had been running away from a bear. I was panting so heavily.

"Um......hi?" Chase said making it sound more like a question.

"H....h.....hi" I finally said in between breathes.

"Do you want to sit down?" He smiled.

I just nodded in reply and we took our seats.

After a couple of minutes I finally stopped panting and explained to him what happened. Obviously leaving out the fact that I was too busy confessing my feelings for him.

"Awh you ran just for me" he smirked.

"Oh shut up" I giggled while nudging him in the ribs.

"Ow" he yelped jokingly and shoving me in the ribs in return.

"Hey!" I yelped.

He then winked and got a menu. That jerk. That I've fallen for.

"What do you want?" He asked me.

"I'll have a cup of coffee" I replied.

"Okay" he answered getting a waiters attention.

"Hey what can I get you?" He asked giving us a smile.

"I'll have a coffee and so wi-" he started to order before I cut in.

"Wait I want chocolate milkshake" I chirped. I don't care if I sounded like I was 5. I wanted some.

"Haha. Okay" the waiter chuckled.

"Coffee for the man and chocolate milkshake for the lady" he winked.

Woah. Was that flirting or just friendly. Either way I felt a little uncomfortable. He stood there longer than necessary, but then Chase caught his attention.
