(a/n: her outfit and her hair)

Zoë

I take the train, my hearing aids out, my heart beating wildly in my chest.

I'm nervous.

And excited.

I put my head phones in, and play the music as loud as it goes so I can feel the loudness and the beats in my chest.

I sigh.

About an hour and a half later I arrive home.

I got a couple tattoos since. But I've also got long sleeves to hide them.

I may not be disappointing myself, but I don't want to disappoint others.

I step onto the soil and I breathe in the air deeply.

Home.

I'm finally home.

Matthew

I walk around town with my headphones in.

I've gotten used to the fact that I might never see her again.

But that doesn't mean it does not hurt.

I walk with my head low and staring at the ground as I walk, counting all the cracks within the sidewalks.

Then me and another body make a collision.

I take my headphones out ready to apologize and I take a moment to notice that the person is a girl and looks exactly like her.

She smiles at me and gives me a little wave.

It is her.

I hug her tightly. I don't speak.

She has her hearing aids out.

I think I love her.

And with that she leans up and presses her lips against mine.

I don't think I could have ever been as happy as in that moment.
