Chapter 9: Bowling and a Cute Guy

AL'S P.O.V.

"C'MON GUYS!" I hear Louis yell, and Liam and I run up to join the rest of them.

"COMING!" Liam yells, panting. We then reach the rest of them, and I see that Zayn is soaking wet.

"What happened to you?" I say, looking at Zayn. He blushes a little bit at this, and looks at the ground. He then does a light chuckle before he looks up at me. When he does look up, he is biting his lower lip, and I must say, he looks H O T when he does that, and it kinda makes my heart go a little faster.

"Uhh, yeah, Niall tried to dunk me under the water, but failed to do so." He says while looking at me, then at Niall. Niall just laughs a little bit, kind of nervously.

"Well if you guys like the water so much, then how about after bowling, we can go in the water?" I hear Liam say. He then looks at me, and winks at me. I blush a little bit, since I know that he thinks that I am pretty. 'Does he like like me?' I ask myself in my head.

"YEAH!!!! AND MAYBE WE COULD GO SURFING!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SURFING BEFORE, AND I DONT WANT TO REALLY TRY BUT AL, YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO!!! SINCE YOU LIKE THE WATER AND STUFF!" Sam yells, grabbing onto my arm, jumping up and down.

"Ah, yes. The classic H20. It is wonderful, isnt it? It rehydrates you, and also refreshes you." I say, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Okay, well Liam and I can teach you after bowling, okay? Well Lets Go! I wanna kick your guys' butt at bowling! Lets GOGO GO!" Louis shouts, sprinting off towards the pier.

"Lets go!" I hear Harry say, as he starts running.

"Wait for me gu- AHH!" I say, but am suddenly lifted up. I look down to see who lifted me up, and it was Zayn.

"ZAYN PUT ME DOWN YOU ARE WET!" I say, giggling.

"Nope! Now lets go, my little Lanna!" He says back, chuckling. I then see everyone else up ahead of us, climbing the hill to get onto the asphalt that takes you to the main strip of the pier.

"Hey! I'm not that Little!" I yell back. " Now PUT ME DOWN!" I yell while I hit his back.

"Awh, okay," He says as he puts me down, right infront of him, so I am turned towards him. I then realize that we are really close together, and I look up and he is just smiling at me. "Hey Lanna?"

"Yeah?"

" Can I have a BIG OLE HUG!" He says starting to chase after me.

"NO YOU'RE WET!" I yell back, laughing. He soon catches me, and I am in his tight grip. He is hugging me from behind, so both of his arms are wrapped around my stomach. I immediately blush at this.

'I could get used to this.' I think to myself. I am enjoying myself, being in Zayn's arms, as he rest his head on my shoulder. I can hear his steady breathing, and his heart beat. I then somehow loosen out of his grip, and start running.

"RACE YOU TO THE BOWLING ALLEY!" I yell, getting a good 10 feet start up onto the hill, where I almost touch the asphalt.

"Wha- HEY NO FAIR!" Zayn yells back, laughing. He then starts to run after me, and soon catches up to me. We then slow our pace down to a walk, since we caught up with everyone else.

"You all ready?" Niall asks, about ready to open the door to the very, small, local Bowling Alley.

"Yeah, Lets Do This!" Sam says, walking in right after Niall. We then are hit with a cool blast of A.C. I then see 10 lanes open, and nobody is there.

"Looks like we have the place to ourselves then." Zayn says, walking right beside me.

"Yeah. Lets go get our shoes on. I will go rent out a lane for the seven of us. I will be right back." Harry says, jogging towards the service counter lady. The lady is around her mid-40s, and once she sees Harry, she automatically starts to flirt with him. 'Poor Harry.' I think in my mind.
