Cuapter 31: MRI-how about not.

After everyone left me, Liam and Zayn both took a chair next to my bed on opposite sides. It is silent for a while until Liam speaks up.

"So how have you been, Al?" He asks. Can he really be this stupid.

"Not so good. Last time I checked I'm in a hospital." I say trying to roll my eyes without it hurting. I fail though.

"Still the same ole' Lanna." Zayn laughs and I look at him, and then back to Liam. Why did they both have to stay with me? I would be better off with Jimmy the Goldfish and a lamp.

"Yes...Still the same." Liam mumbles looking at me. It feels like I haven't eaten in ages and that I have to pee so bad. I look down at myself and I am in a hospital gown. I'm 99% sure that I am butt naked under here. Just great.

"Um, well do you need anything?" Zayn asks and I nod. He motions with his hand for me to continue, and I do.

"Well, for starters, I am hungry." I say and Liam gets up and calls for the nurse, pressing the button. "Second of all, I need to pee." I say and they both exchange glances.

"Okay. No problem." Liam says walking over to me to help me up. Before he can place his hand on my back, I stop him.

"No, there is a problem." I reply embarrassed to say the next part. "I'm pretty sure I am naked under here." I say blushing. They both blush furiously, and I realize that Zayn is now looking at my body that is uncovered by the blanket. I pull the blanket farther up onto myself.

"So if you could ask the nurse for a change of some hospital clothes like pants, that would be great." I say and they both nod. The nurse walks in soon and thankfully, with a pair of hospital pants and underwear.

"Uh, do you have a shirt for me?" I ask as she hands me the clothing.

"You're wearing it." She says nodding down towards my hideous hospital gown.

"Isn't there a shirt for me?" I ask looking at her. "Or a bra?"

"Afraid not."

Great.

"Okay. Liam and Zayn, go wait outside and close the door behind you and wait until she comes and gets you." I demand and they both nod, and leave.

"Let's get you dressed now, Miss Audrus." The nurse says curtly, helping me up. I soon start to try to waddle to the bathroom.

"Thanks, but call me Al." I say as she closes the door behind me.

"Okay then. So, which one is your boyfriend?" She asks and I blush.

"Uh, none." I say as she turns around and lets me put on the underwear and pants.

"Wow. A girl like you?"

"Well, it's complicated." I reply sighing.

"I understand, Miss."

"Ah-" I say about to correct her.

"Al. Sorry." She says opening the door. She leads me back to my bed. She gets me all comfortable and warm, before she lets Liam and Zayn in.

"Hey Al." Liam greets sitting down back in his spot. The nurse picks up a clipboard, and starts checking off something.

"Uh, Miss?" Zayn asks trying to get her name. She turns around and smiles.

"Alice. Call me Alice." She says in a southern drawl, that I just now noticed.

"Right. Alice." Zayn says looking over at me. "I bet we are all wondering, when does Lanna have to go through the tests?" He asks and I gulp.

"Oh, yes. Well she is going to go to one right now. She is going to get an MRI."

"An M-R-what?" I ask wide eyed.

"An MRI. Niall had to get one when we got in that accident. You'll be fine, Al." Liam says with a smile.

"Oh, okay..." I say shakily.

"Are you ready Al?" Alice asks, and I nod. She wheels me out of the room, leaving Zayn and Liam alone. I am soon entered into a room, about to get a MRI-Don't want to be here.

HEY SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED SINCE LIKE THE ICE AGE AND SORRY IT IS SO SHORT.

I promise the next one will be longer. I have just been so busy lately with school and all so if you could just bear with me. Well I have to go now, and thanks for being patient with me.
