Chapter 1

Chapter one

The world around Japan, it was tranquil and peaceful. It held a calming aura that would rock a baby to sleep.

Sesshomaru was standing, watching as the sun tried to peek into the world. Jaken only snored beside Ah'Uhn. Rin snore silently, sleeping.

Sesshomaru looked at her, then back at the sky, the sun slowly rising.

Rin woke up, she saw the morning sun rising.

"Good morning, Master Jaken!" Rin greeted happily.

Jaken was grumpy and didn't say anything but only gave her an angry glare. Rin didn't mind, she was happy to be with her friends, Jaken and Lord Sesshomaru.

"Lord Sesshomaru!" She called out.

"Yes, Rin?" Sesshomaru responded, while turning to her.

She smiled and gave him a hug "Nothing! I just wanted to say 'Good morning'"

He didn't show any emotion

"Let's go." He commanded

Jaken, grumpily walked to Lord Sesshomaru

"Milord! I'm so tired!" Jaken cried out.

He gave him the death glare and Jaken only stepped back and shut up. Rin skipped happily as she followed him.

They came by a forest and her stomach began to growl.

"Lord Sesshomaru!"

He looked at her

"May I go get something to eat?"

"Little girl! Don't request too much of Lord Sesshomaru!!" Jaken commanded

"Jaken!" His voice sounded angry.

Jaken was scared and climbed on Ah'Un.

"Go ahead, Rin, but don't stray off too far."

Rin nodded and giggled as she went into the forest to find some food.

"La la la la la!" Rin sang, she looked for a blueberry bush, because they were ripe at this time of year. As Rin started picking the blueberries she found, she heard some rustling behind her. She looked back, no one. She was a little terrified.

RUSTLE. RUSTLE. RUSTLE.

There was that noise again! Rin jumped a little and started shaking.

"Who's out there?" Rin called out "If you don't tell me, I will call Lord Sesshomaru!!"

No noise. 'Twas all quiet now, so Rin picked the blueberries and ate them. While she sat and ate, someone who made the rustling noise, came up so close behind her. He placed his hand, with a rag of sleepy powder, to Rin's mouth. She immediately fell asleep. The kidnapper chuckled.

"Finally, I got her!" He laughed a little louder. "Your Lord Sesshomaru can't save you now, little one. You are going to be mine someday."

He picked her up then walked away, disappearing into the forest.

Meanwhile, Sesshomaru and Jaken were waiting for Rin to be finished.

"Milord!" Jaken started, "Rin has been gone far too long!"

Sesshomaru looked at Jaken "Go find her."

Jaken was nervous but reluctantly answered saying, "Yes, M-Milord!"

Jaken went into the forest to look for Rin.

"Rin!" Jaken called. "Where are you, silly girl? Lord Sesshomaru is looking for you!"

While he was looking for Rin, he sees a blueberry bush with half the blueberries missing.

"I see that Rin was here."

He looked around and couldn't find her.

"Oh! Lord Sesshomaru is not gonna like what he hears!"

Jaken fearfully went back to Lord Sesshomaru. When he got back, Sesshomaru wasn't happy that Jaken came back without Rin.

"Jaken!" Sesshomaru said, angrily.

"Milord! I'm sorry! I couldn't find her! It's like she just vanished from thin air!" Jaken whined.

Sesshomaru's eyes widened and he ran to the spot where Rin last stood. He sniffed the air. Her scent was faint, but it was hers.

"Jaken!"

"Y-yes, Milord?"

"Stay here and watch Ah'Un until I get back."

"Oh, yes, Milord! I will be waiting here! Just be careful!"

Sesshomaru didn't say anything. He continues to follow the faint scent.

"Hold on, Rin, I'll find you." He said to himself.

Meanwhile.

"Now," the kidnapper said, "I have the one thing that Sesshomaru will dearly miss."

Little Rin was sleeping in a room. She suddenly woke up and was confused so she got up and started walking around.

"I wonder where I'm at," Rin asked herself as she entered the corridor. "This place looks creepy... I want Lord Sesshomaru." Rin trembled as she kept walking.

She suddenly entered the dining room, that has a long and wide table with many candles, plates, and food. Above the table hangs a beautiful chandelier.

Rin's stomach turned, she didn't feel safe here, she didn't like it. All she wanted was to get out and be with Sesshomaru.

Suddenly, Arashi came in and saw her.

"Why, hello there, my little Rin."he said sitting at the end of the table.

Rin was scared so she didn't say anything or even moved from her spot. She trembled a little.

"Why be so scared? I'm not gonna hurt you," he smirked.

Rin was terrified. She didn't want to be here. She wanted to get out.

Arashi continues to smirk at the little child before him.

"You'd be very beautiful when you grow up, my darling."

Rin closed her eyes, she wanted all this to be a dream. She didn't want to be here with this man. She clenched her fist tight.

He notices her. He got up and went to her, he kneeled down to where he can see here at eye level.

"Now, now, my darling. This is no time for struggling." He pulled her into a hug, softly.

Rin's eyes opened, and widened. She couldn't move for his hug was a little too tight for her. She wanted to break free and escape.

"I want Lord Sesshomaru!!" She whined.

He only laughed, "I'm afraid he won't come and get you anymore, Rin!" He gave a sick smirk. He thought of all the fun he would have when she gets older.

Rin trembled and ran to her room. She locked the door then collapsed on her bed, crying. She buried her face into the pillow and continued to cry until she fell asleep.

"Lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken yelled. "We will never find her if we keep going on like this!"

Sesshomaru turned and gave Jaken the death glare. Jaken was frightened. He gulped and took a few steps back.

"I-I mean, we will surely find her if we keep looking!" He laughs nervously.

"Let's go!" Sesshomaru commanded. Jaken nodded and followed him.
