Chapter 6




It was midnight and Rin tossed and turned. She couldn't get Sesshomaru out of her head. She knew he wasn't coming for her, so why waste time?


It's not like he would care that much for her...


Or does he?

Sesshomaru was restless. She was still no where in sight, nor was there any scent that he could possibly use as a lead.


He was about to give up until...


"M-Milord!!" Jaken; that annoying pest.


Sesshomaru turned around to face his little minion and glared icily at him.


"What is it Jaken?" Jaken gulped and stuttered as he tried to find the words to say; trying his best not to mess it all up for this might be his last.


Really, in this stage, you'd think Jaken was smart enough not to mention anything that'll irritate him.


But of course, all that would have to be a dream.


"U-umm.." He started, of course, he was stuttering and stalling.


This made Sesshomaru angrier by the second.


"Just spill it out." He didn't raise his voice, but you could tell that he wasn't in a good mood at the moment.


Jaken trembled. "Well, you see Milord, I think I may know where Rin might be!" He flinched, thinking that he'll get hit for mentioning Rin, but to his surprise, Sesshomaru didn't do such thing. Instead, he brushed past him and walked a few steps away before stopping.


"Where do you think she went?" He asked flatly.


Jaken gestured him to follow, in which he did so to Jaken's surprise. Usually he wouldn't follow him, but this is different. He was desperate to find Rin.


They stopped to what seems like a hole in the ground and it hasn't been used in years.


"I can smell her from here! It's kind of faint but its there!" Sesshomaru acknowledged his tremendous work.


((A/N: he didn't say it out loud XD))


The smaller demon gulped. He usually didn't thank him, which actually scared him exceedingly.


((A/N: XD Who wouldn't? Okay.. I'm gonna stop talking..))


The hole itself wasn't big, yet it wasn't small. It was just big enough for Sesshomaru to fit through without any troubles.


All around him as he got deeper, there were strange carvings, ones of which he had never seen before. Oddly enough, they were carvings of Arashi. Of course, Sesshomaru didn't know of such thing. So, this was all oblivious to him.


He finally reached the bottom. There was something strange with this place. Like, he's seen this place before.


Suddenly, a wicked crackle was heard from behind him. Sesshomaru quickly turned around and there revealed a certain kidnapper.


Arashi.


"So, it looks like somebody decided to drop in!" Oh, Arashi.


That disgusting, horrid name. Yes, The Lord of the West Lands, himself, knew this low life. Sadly, he knew this was coming.


"Where is she?" he commanded, venom dripping from every word he spoke. Arashi chuckled mentally and pretended to be hurt by his words.


"Oh~ you have really put a wound on my heart, Sess. Really! It did!" Anger boiled up inside the demon by the nickname he had called him. Can't this guy take a break? It's been years. He should let it go by now.


"Are you testing me, Arashi?" He questioned. The low-life chuckled rather darkly.


"Maybe..."

Aaaaaaaand end of chapter 6! -.-' whew! That was tough!
