Time paradoxes are rather indifferent to the world around us. They change the time without us knowing, caused by a few people or maybe a single person.

Rin awoke again, feeling hot and sweaty. 'What was that dream?' she thought to herself. She scratched her head and tried remembering what had happened the past few nights. She couldn't remember anything other than...

She shivered. She did not want to be reminded of that. But she couldn't remember the ball that Arashi mentioned, like it had never happened. Her head began to spin. It was all so.. indifferent, so methodically engineered to collapse time and space everywhere in parallel universes. (A/N: ..... I got a headache from just thinking it all up xD wow)

She also couldn't remember anything previous or after that, just woke up with this strange feeling and the previous night. She got up and went into the bathroom to empty the contents of her stomach. Why me? She thought.

'It wasn't fair. ISN'T! I hate this..' She stared down as tears began to fall on the floor.

"I want all this to end.." She quickly made her way to the armoury, ravaging through archives of different sets of smelted iron. She finally found the steel bladed knife. It shone in the dim light that shone. She sniffled and put it away in her yukata.

( I've always imagine Rin wearing a yukata.. Like I never imagine her wearing something different. )

She walked back to her room, stifling her loud cries.

Even to her dismay, Sesshomaru has given up on finding her.

"M-Milord ! Where is Rin?" the annoying demon's voice rang through Sesshomaru's head. He didn't want to hear anymore of Rin, because he thought he'd never be able to see her again. Not with that da** Arashi around.

But nonetheless, he has a plan up his sleeves, and if that doesn't work, he would just die and never be able to love again. On the outside, he looked as if he doesn't care but on the inside he's heartbroken.

He then notices something, so he stopped. This made Jaken accidentally bump into the back of his leg.

"Milord-" Sesshomaru quickly growled, signaling that he should shut up.

"Something's not right..." The demon mumbled, furrowing his eyebrows. Jaken let out a small 'hmm,' wanting an answer.

"I felt so close to get her, but then when I am, I forget that happened the next day- I felt as if something has gone terribly wrong." He looked so emotionless and what he said made the tiny demon confused. Said demon scratched his head and sweatdropped, not completely understanding what his master said. He let out a confused sigh and continued to follow.

If any of those who are confused at the matter, here's what it is.

Time paradoxes exist in the world of the mind. It's not something that's different. It happens all the time, but whether it was a good or bad situation depends on the person or persons. Those who are affected begin to have amnesia of what happened before or after a big event or in between two events. They will slowly become insane and if nothing happens between two or more people to stop it, disaster will strike in their soul and will disappear slowly into the darkness without ever finding peace and happiness of their own.

A scary thought, right?

While Sesshomaru was thoroughly rethinking about his plan, someone of difference came. No one knows where this person came from nor why they did. All they knew was that since it was a stranger, it could mean bad news.
