"Hey, Sesshomaru!" Inuyasha the half demon called out to his brother. "Your little runt is going to be alright. Don't get all girly about it!"

Sesshomaru huffed and looked at his younger brother with fire in his eyes. Anger and hatred has been built inside him, from all those years of Rin being held captive of that useless man. He exhaled loudly, not really wanting his brother to hear.

Inuyasha looked at Sesshomaru, guessing that whatever he would try to say, he better not say it. Although, he really shouldn't be all pissy about such thing.

Kagome was at the hut with their little demon child.

"Hey, Sesshomaru." Said demon looked at his brother as they came closer to the place where the hole was.

"Who is this man anyway?"

"None of your business."

"Tch, fine then."

** Few hours before the ball **

Rin stood beside Arashi, a fake smile plastered on her pretty face. It was so captivating at how strong she had become, and that was because she had someone to hate: Arashi himself.

In her head, she formed some kind of escape plan. She wouldn't know whether it'll work or not, but it was something worth trying.

As everyone was congratulating on her engagement to the man, buying the lies that he masks in front of them.

Arashi wraps an arm around her shoulders. She shudders slightly and fake smiled up at him.

'Why me?' Rin asked the same question she had been asking for a long time to herself. It was like anything she did wasn't enough to take his filth away from her.

'Sesshomaru. . . Please. . Save me!'

It took only a few minutes for both brothers to reach the hole.

"Here it is." Sesshomaru stated bluntly. Inuyasha looked at it and then at him, confusion clearly written all over his face.

"Don't give me that stupid look and just go in."

Inuyasha sighed and tried to jump in but was interrupted when he had received a shock from the entrance.

His demon brother didn't look fazed at all by the outcome.

"Ugh! Sesshomaru, what the hell?"

"Quiet."

"This isn't helping!!!"

"You're quite troublesome aren't you?" Sesshomaru took in a deep breath and used his skills to break the barrier.

"Didn't work. How unfortunate." Sure, on the outside he seems completely unaffected by this, but on the inside, he is panicking.

"Tear this open."

"Wha-?" Inuyasha pondered.

"Tear the barrier open. Now"

Inuyasha, confused, mumbled and did as he was told. Sure enough, the barrier was broken, and the entry way leads straight down.

With quick movements, Sesshomaru was down there before Inuyasha could even muster out a single word.

'I'm coming, Rin.'
