Crescent Moon [Paused]

Eleven

I woke up at six in the morning again. My sleep schedule was absolutely horrible. Why was it that I barely got any sleep.

Rolling over, I grabbed my towel and headed toward the bathroom. Halfway there I overheard Percy and Annabeth giggling.

I smiled. It was odd that my little brother had such a good relationship. But then again who could blame him mom and dad have always been perfect examples of a good relationship.

Making it to the bathroom, I sat down to pee. Midway through I nodded off...

I woke to Percy bangging on the door.

"Okay seriously Lyd!" Percy wined. "You've been in there for hours what are you doing?!"

I cracked open the door and glared at him. "Sleeping," I stared. "I was sleeping. Now give me a minute."

"Bur I gotta go!" Percy wined some more.

"Just shift and go in the yard." I rolled my eyes closing the door.

After brushing my teeth taking a shower and soing my hair, I walked back to my room to bump into Jason.

He gazed at me. No he was staring at me. In awe and probably tempted to take me right there and then.

The only thing stopping him was probably the fact that my Dad was down the hall.

"You just finished taking a shower." He blushed stating the obvious.

"Yea." I murmured just irritated at his eyes. Sure they were beautiful but goddess damn man do you ever not stare at me.

"Umm, we could leave after lunch." Jason nodded as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously and walked past me.

I smiled biting my lower lip intrigued by the fact that he was intimidated by me.

After getting dressed, I grabbed my stuff. I had packed two dufflebags a backpack and a suitcase. In the two dufflebags I had my clothes and in the suitcase I had an assortment of things. Everything from girl stuff to my own personal things. The backpack just held things that could fit in the other bags.

Making my way downstairs, I struggled. Who wouldn't with a backpack two dufflebags and attempting to pull a suitcase.

Jason rushes over and saddled the two dufflebags on his shoulders as he made his way over toward the door.

"Where's Dixon and Niklaus?" I asked.

Jason smiled.

I smiled back at him wonderingly. "What's so funny?"

"You said there names as if you'd known them your whole life." Jason managed.

I rolled my eyes crossing my arms.

"They went to the hotel to stay the night. They should be here after lunch."

"They aren't eating?" I asked.

"I don't know but they decided not to intrude." Jason replied peacefully.

Putting my backpack down. I turned around to see Annabeth in Percy's old football Jersey. She looked cute. Her passionate blonde hair curled and ruffled from sleepinf on it ans her eyes were still that morning dew shade of grey rather than their usual silver.

"Morning." Annabeth smiled. "Sorry I didn't plan on staying the night so I just took this jersey from Percy's closet."

I smiled. "It's okay Annabeth. Your family. I can't judge you."

Annabeth smiled. "You leaving already?"

"Not yet first lunch." I said.

"More like breakfast for me." Annabeth scratched her head as she made her way towards our downstairs bathroom.

After a few minutes she came back out with a smile and much more of a cleaner look to her hair. Annabeth was always capable of that she never liked looking skimpy.

She even pulled down the jersey so it wouldn't show her bum.

Around noon everyone was finally downstairs and the food was crazy ready.

I smiled as I saw all my favorites. Homemade bacon double cheeseburgers. A whappjng load of fries and a vast assortment of other foods. I smiled they even made dinner foods like lasagna, rice and bean, a vast assortments of meats from beef to pork to chicken. And hotdogs chilly cheesedogs. The deserts were my favorites chocolate drizzled cheesecake and flan.

Yes I know what you all are wonderinf what is flan? It's this Puerto Rican pastery dish. Its made out of heaven because it tastes phenomenal.

Jason jusr looked at me as I inhaled as much as I could. And when I eat my favorite foods I eat a lot.

I almost gave up a heck of a lot of times but nope. Ten seconds later I was back in the game. Eating like a veteran.

Half past one, we finished the food. Or should i say I finished most of it. Everyone had some but I was the bloated one.

Percy and I said our goodbyes first. I hugged him told him i was going to miss him and to be good to Annabeth.

He gave me that sarcastic look as if to say what do ya mean?

I laughed and then reached over toward my parents and said goodbye.

Mom's strawberry hair was lovely today she had styled it in curls for such a prestine opportunity.

"Oh!" She said wrapping me in a tight hug. "Call me everyday sweetheart ans don't go having cubs to young. You're still young you know."

"I know Mom." I smiled. "I will and I love you too."

"Lovd you more." Mom remarked.

I said goodby to my Dad last. He gazed at me with those green eyes of his the same ones I inherited.

Ugh green was an issue in my life. I thought.

"Sweerheart," Dad managed. "You're going off into the world now. Be rhe best Luna you can be. And don't worry about the Beta responsibilities, we don't need one now. If anything your mother could help out with that end."

I nodded as tears buttered up. Wrapping my arms around him I hugged him. It was a sad thing to say goodbye to my dad.

He had been there for everything in my life. My first words. My first bike ride. My first cheer competition. Even when I was honored for my academic achievements.

Dad had always been there and now, now I was walkinf our of that special spot. I was no longer goinf to be his Beta his star student. I now was once his Beta and once was his star student.

"Don't worry." Dad said ruffling his fingers through my hair. "You will still be my baby girl regardless of the other things."

I smiled. "Thanks Dad."

"No problem Kiddo." He managed.

After one last group hug and goodbye. I smiled as I gathered my stuff.

"Annabeth." I managed.

"Yea?"

"Make sure Seaweed Brain does his homework." I smiled.

Annaberh smirked. "Oh I will."

Percy keened his eyes at me as I smiled gingerly walking away.

This was the goodbye. Yea I know brother-sister love is sometimes cruel lol.

Who do you think of Percabeth? I will try and incorporate them more here and there when I can. But next chapter we meet some new characters.

These are going to be members of the Black Moon Pack.

Oh and I can't wait until Jason finds out she has a tattoo thats gonna be interesting.

I also need to have them talk more cuz it's just that awkward "I like you" phase over and over again lol.
