Snow bandaged her own shallow cuts and looked at the werewolf and her hurt friend. She narrowed her eyes, then adjusted her cloak. Snow's fingers buried themselves in Phoenix's dark curls easy, almost getting lost with how plush the woman's hair was. Snow smirked.

"You're such a lost cause." She eyed the sleeping beast, who had his head nestled in her lap. "Hope that lucky bastard realizes that too."

Snow picked up her pouch, leaving them a few supplies. She needed to get to her partner, then return with another horse to properly transport Phoenix. She only had a few more hours under the cover of night to work. It was a wonder why nothing had come out of the darkness to attack them.

She readied her bow, and began on her path. It was just a straight shot, maybe a hundred feet over the hill and into the next pass. Her heart fluttered with the thought of her partner, a woodsman who had graciously given her his heart. As she had given her his. Snow stilled and hid behind a tree. A small herd of elks ran away, catching her scent easily. She looked to the sky, using the stars on her trek. It seemed so much longer than when she first came up the hills and cliffs to find Phinny.

She heard a twig snap, and the tangs of arrow strings. Trees around her snapped with impact, the air whistled with arrows that were moving at speeds much faster than her own bow could produce.

"Show yourself!" shouted a man.

Snow did not respond. She slowed her breathing from panting to even low breaths.

"We'll strike you dead!" shouted another.

Their voices were gruff, and thick with authority. They had accents that she could not recognize.

So she threw her weight around abit. "I'm a Lady in Waiting for her Majesty, Lucciana del Rey." she said, keeping the bow low and out of sight. "I'm on my way back to my compatriots."

There were hoarse whispers, some in the dialect she knew, some in the one she didn't. Snow peeked around a tree, spotting the silhouettes of the men. They wore gold and green clothes, with emblems of some sort of four legged creature. A few of the men held torches to light their way in the dark forest.

Snow frowned, and cursed softly.

"We are Emissaries for your Ally then." one man called out to her. "His Lordship, Grengal of the Southerlands."

Snow pressed her body close to the tree, cursing softly once more. Maybe she could sneak back to the camp site and somehow make a trek around them. The forest was wide enough. And with everything going the way it was, it seemed that the Great Lord of all was still finding favor with her.

She sucked in a breath. "I need to head back to my compatriots. They must be wondering about my wareabouts." she tried to sound weak, and more feminine. Snow slid down, lowering her position behind the tree. She felt around in her quiver, and pulled out a red arrow with a tube of bamboo carved around the head. Snow heard them coming towards her.

She ran to another tree, where she was barraged with arrows once more. She aimed skyward and sent the arrow soaring. It reached high in the sky, then as it dropped, filled the air with a series of ear splitting whistles.

Snow ran, dodged, and weaved through the forest. All those years living near the diamond mines, in that forest that was Helhelm on Earth, she was a force to be reckoned with. She was called a faerie when she was young, because of how Fair yet devious she was. She smirked and pulled her cloak up to her nose. Snow pulled out a few pouches from her pockets. She twisted the fabric, and clouds of powdered spices spilled from her hands.
