It had taken weeks to get from the Central Lands of the Country into Lucciana del Rey's territories. Any warriors from the Queen's army were dispatched quickly and without discretion. Lucciana did not have the man power to fight off the growing number of Weres that were barreling through her lands.

From their home forest, they kept traveling east, gathering as many Weres as they could. This did not just pertain to the wolves, mountain lions and their relatives such lynxes and even small wild cats. the bears from the Southerlands, and various Avian breeds even joined the pack. By the time they had reached Lucciana's lands, they were already a force to be reckoned with.

Wolfe looked over the forces, then a sweet scent graced his nose. Lilacs, roses and vanilla. He motioned a few of his betas over, and they went to scope out the fabled Black Forest. The creatures that lived their were simple corrupt Fae. Small brownies and pixies that were contaminated by the Queen's rule and her trials in various magicks.

The female Beta, Penelope, walked in her beast form, sniffing a snuffed out campfire. "They couldn't have left too long ago." she reported.

Another Beta sniffed around rocks and found a sack of supplies. Medicinal herbs, bandages, and a few throwing knives. Wolfe sniffed the bag, a canine grin taking over his snout. All the wolves were on offensive when one of the female Betas was suddenly immobilized.

Her both hind legs and her left front limb were trapped, her right paw dug helplessly at the dirt. Another wolf tried to tear the ropes off to no avail. Wolfe stood his ground and stood between their assailant and his charge.

The humans that came from the brush were stout, thick bred men. Their height ranged greatly, from five feet to well over six, but their muscular thick built forms was something they all shared. Their faces framed by coarse beards that were tamed in warrior plaits that formed braids. There were seven in all, armed with wood and pick axes. A man with dark red hair let out a bellow of a cry at the wolves. A couple of the betas backed up, but Wolfe and Penelope snarled viciously at him.

The man unsheathed his ax and moved to kill Wolfe.

He willed his bones to shift, and went from four legs to two in a moment. He towered over the man, gripping the handle of the ax hard.

A voice shattered all the noise, demanding everyone to drop their arms. The six looked at the wolves, but did as told.

Wolfe looked at the man, daring him to move. There was the lightest flash of few behind his eyes, but it disappeared quickly.

"Princess, these vermin were going through your things." Wolfe's opponent said gruffly.

A woman dressed in dark purple, and white climbed through the brush. Her blond hair was pulled back and done in a warrior's plaits to keep it out of her eyes. Her frown turned into a surprised smile when she saw the giant obsidian wolf towering over one of her Guards.

"Wolfe!" she grinned, running up to him. One of the wolves growled at her, but the Alpha snarled at them and he stepped back in line.

Snow reached up and hugged her comrade around the neck. She stepped back and saw the she-wolf that was bound in the ground. She unsheathed a knife from her boot and knelt. In a few moments the wolf was free. She wiggled her toes ad shot up to fall into formation.

"So where's Phinny?" she tilted her head, looking over the campsite then the forest around them. "You can't leave her out in this forest... as Harmless as some of the Good Folk are, Phinny has a penchance of drawing in..." She looked up at Wolfe, his pointed ears lowered and looking much like a dog who had chewed up their master's boots. "....Trouble....."
