Chapter 9

Charlie POV

"Charlie Conway isn't wearing the traditional captain C, he's been this team's captain since they played in District, I guess Coach Orion is making a statement" Said the reporter

Everyone was cheering, the Ref set the puck down on the ice and I stole it and scored, the buzzer went off and everyone cheered, I look up and see Tarah smiling

"What did I tell you" I said to Guy

We all cheered which made Coach Orion mad

"All right, knock off the celebration, act like you scored before"

You could tell Julie was bored because we kept the puck on there side the whole first half

"Come on guys, give me somthing to do" she said in boredom

We laughed, Russ came onto the ice and did his fancing move

"Ladies and Gentlemen its knuckle puck time!" he shot and scored

"Hey ref, you can call this thing now and we can all get home in time to see Melrose" said Goldberg laughing to th ref

Luis had the puck and was skating really hard and he couldn't stop

"Watch out, he's got no brakes" said Russ

He scored and everyone was so happy

"Yeah Luis you scored man you scored" we said to him

"Are you okay man?" Russ asked him

He fell on the floor again

"Oh, I guess not" we all laughed

Dwayne got the puck and did his trick

"Yee-haw, How do you like them apples" then he scored

"Conway passes to Averman who pass it to Fulton, Look out!" said the reporter

Fulton blasted the puck and it ent into the net spinning the goalie

"Yeah! I spun that dude"

Russ POV

I was sitting on the bench with Kenny when all of a sudden he wanted me to teach him to trash talk

"Russ, you got to teach me how to trash talk"

"It can't be taught Kenny, I mean its got to be the first thing that comes to mind, you just got to go for it, try it"

He gets up from his seat "Hey ref you.."

I stopped him by covering his mouth

"Uh-Uh Shh, Pick another target"

"Hey number 44 you, you,you, you play , you play, you don't play real good"

"Yeah right" said number 44

"Shorter man, get right to the point" I said

"Hey, nunber nine, bite me!"

Number nine came up to him and pushed him down, I started to laugh

"Now we're getting somewhere"

Fulton gets the puck again a scores

"Fulton scored, Fulton scored, I am really bored, Fultons great, Fultons great, a year ago he couldn't even skate" Julie said really boredly

Reporter- "Charlie Conway takes the puck away and gets the hat trick from somewhere out in the ozone! At the end of two Eden hall 9, Black 0...It's over folks!"

Hans- "That's my ducks!"
