"How about we grab some ice cream before I drop you off, speaking of which where are you staying?" Poseidon asks as keeping his eyes in the rode. Percy was reclined in the passenger seat with a warm, damp, cloth over his head and eyes.
"I stay with Jason and his dad.*" Percy replies in a tired tone.
"Oh and I'm assuming ypou don't want to stay with me do you?" Poseidon asks sounding crestfallen.
Percy's head snapoped to look at his dad as if he were crazy. "You would actually want new to stay at your house. With you?" Percy asks.
"Yes if you would like, I mean just until this situation gets under control." He said looking at him as they stopped at a red light.
"Thanks dad but can give me time to like adjust to this whole thing about having a dad who cares before I give you an answer about moving in?" Percy asks missing the grimace his father made as he pulled the purple cloth backc over his eyes.
"Y..yea of course,now how about that ice cream?" Poseidon forced out as he pulled in the creamery parlor. "The best cream in town" he read aloud as he parked the car.
They shuffled out of the car and Percy couldn't help the smile that made its way in his at finally having a dad who cares for him
