Chapter 1. New Beginnings.

5 Months Later.

I sat on the couch in the dark living room, crying while I watched the Notebook where they're kissing in the rain.

"Why are you crying?"

I look over at Mason and blow my nose in my Kleenex. "I'm on my period, okay?"

He chuckles and wraps his arm around me, "You're one of a kind Jordyn."

I giggle through my watering eyes, "I know I am."

6:50 a.m.

I grab a brown bag off the counter and turn around to Mason. He wrapped his hands on my waist and kisses me.

"I packed you lunch for your first day of school." I say with a smile while handing him the bag.

He chuckles, "Thank you babe."

I stand on my tiptoes and kissed him one last time. "You're welcome."

He grabbed my bag off the couch and threw it around his shoulder. "Come on."

I giggled, "What are you doing?"

"Taking you to your first day of college."

"Aw that's sweet, but I thought we agreed Zoey and Kyle would pick me up?"

He smiles cheekily, "Change of plans."

We arrive at the college and Mason opens the door for me. He kisses me on the lips and says. "Here's your lunch."

I laughed and kiss him on the cheek. "Thanks! Mason you didn't need to make me lunch."

He smiles. "Well I wanted too. Now go, you don't want to be late." He advises.

"Okay. Bye. Love you!" I say as he gets into the car.

He rolls down the window and smirks, "Bye Babe, love you too! Have a good day, I'll pick you up after school." He says and drives off.

I walk towards the door and look down at my schedule and look back up to see my Physiology Teacher Mr. Nicolas.

He smiles. "Hello Jordyn." He chortled in his thick Irish accent.

"Hi Mr. Nicholas."

"That's cute that your dad packed you lunch." He says with a light chuckle as he points at the brown bag.

I laugh. "Oh no, he's my boyfriend."

He runs his chin and laughs. "Oh, I'm sorry, my bad. He looks a bit older than you."

I brush my hair behind my ear, "He's a couple years older."

He slides his hands into his pockets and says, "How much older? If you don't mind me asking."

"I don't mind, he's four years older. So not much."

He nods, "You're in my first period."

"Hey Mr. Nicolas!" I turn to see my Best Friend Zoey. "I have your first period too!" She exclaims.
