Ellen show!

One morning came and I woke up and ran to the bathroom. I started vomiting and woke Hayley up. She walked in held my hair and rubbed my back. “Charlie, what’s wrong?” I grabbed toilet paper, wiped my face, and flushed the toilet. I looked at her and shrugged. “Do you feel better?” She asked handing me my toothbrush.

“Yeah, just got really nauseated when I woke up, but it’s passed. Thanks Hayley for holding my hair.” I gave a quick smile and we swapped places. I put toothpaste on my brush and started brushing my teeth. Hayley joined me on the sink next to mine. We brushed our teeth in silence.

“I’m sorry, but Charlie this isn’t the first time you randomly started throwing up.” She lowered her voice, “You’re not late are you?” I spit and pondered on my last one. My jaw dropped. I ran to my room and grabbed my calendar to check the answer. I looked and gasped. Hayley followed me and sat next to me. “Oh my gosh,” She shouted. She pulled me into a hug.

“Hayley, will you drive me to pick up a test?” I asked softly. She nodded and pulled me out the door. We drove and wondered about the results. We entered a gas station and picked out five tests. We paid and rushed home. “So how does this work?” I asked dumbly.

“You pee on it and wait for the results.” Hayley responded laughing at my disgusted face. “It won’t be that bad so go pee.” She pushed me to the bathroom and we opened the tests. I took care of the process and we read the instructions and waited. Finally the first one was ready to read. I handed it to Hayley. “Dun, dun, dun and the result of the first test is,” Her eyes grew wide and she stared at it for a minute. “Positive.”

“Positive for what?” I asked fearfully. Hayley gave me a look and I couldn’t believe it.

“Positively pregnant.” She replied sarcastically, “Now for test number two. Which is a pink line?” She grabbed its box and read it. “So pink for positively pregnant and blue for no bun in the oven.” I laughed at her. She handed me the next one. “Your turn.”

“Test number three is negative.” We gave each other a look. “Maybe the only right result or this test is just a defective and cheap piece of crap.” I winked and grabbed the next one. “Test number 4 and same product as three though it’s a positive result,” Hayley and I laughed and I handed Hayley the last test for her to read. Hayley jumped on the other side of the counter.

“Last, but not least is test number five. The tension is killing is there a baby or is it an imbalance of chemicals. The results are.” She faked drum-rolled. “Positive, sorry Charlie, but we need to make a doctor’s appointment.

She gave me a motherly pat on my shoulders and threw the tests away. We washed our hands and changed out of our pajamas. We sat on the couch and started talking in excitement. She finally asked the big question, “So when are you going to tell Tyson?”

I looked at my feet and shrugged. My voice shook as I replied, “I don’t know. They’re so busy with interviews and the tour. Today is their world-wide release party for their self-titled cd. I can’t believe they’re famous now.” Hayley nodded.

“How are you two doing?” She asked gently.

I looked at her and sighed, “We’re not doing great. Whenever I get to talk to him he’s still busy. He calls when he gets a few minutes between interviews. I love him and all, but he’s not the same. He hangs up with a rushed bye and runs off. I get two sentences out and that’s all the time we have. I just miss him a lot.” I started crying and Hayley hugged me. “What about John and you?” I asked hopefully.

She looked at me guiltily, “We’re really good, but he doesn’t go through as many interviews as Tyson. So we talk a lot every single day.” She stroked my hair comfortingly. “I really think he’s the one.” She whispered to me. I smiled and jumped up. Hayley looked questioningly at me.

“Come on, we need to celebrate this. You figured out your soul-mate and I most likely have a baby inside me. Plus I already have a doctor’s appointment today, so maybe they can run tests. Let’s celebrate our happy news and forget about the boys not being with us.” Hayley jumped up and agreed.

“Well how about after Ellen Degeneres show? The boys are performing on her show and also we love that show.” We laughed and agreed.

The Ellen Show was entertaining and the boys performed amazingly. The boys sat down to talk to her for the rest of the show’s time. “You boys were amazing. Weren’t they?” The audience went crazy with young girls. “So any special shout outs for people watching at home?” She asked them.

“I love you, Hayley, also Charlie you’re awesome. I miss you two and I know you two are watching.” John replied and waved at the cameras and blew a kiss for Hayley.

The rest of the guys waved and shouted our names. We laughed at Brendan’sexcitement and his hands formed a heart shape and he pointed at the camera. Girls screamed and we awed. “So what about you, Tyson, any lucky lady or ladies back at home?” She joked.

He shrugged and smiled, “Maybe.” The boys all gave him a look. John gave him a nudge.

“Yes, I do. Her name is Charlie and we’ve been together for almost two years. Just a few weeks shorter than John and Hayley.” He nudged John back.

Ellen smiled happily, “So two sets of lovebirds. That’s so cute, how is the relationship going with your crazy schedules? I mean has it hurt it or made it stronger?”

John smiled and replied, “I think it’s been a lot tougher, but it hasn’t changed how much I care. It just makes you miss them and appreciate what you have a lot more for me. I make sure I call her every single day and we talk and tell each other all about our day.” He blushed and hit Tyson. Ellen and the crowd awed at him and I nudged Hayley happily. She had a huge grin on her face.

“Charlie and I still talk a lot as well. I call her between interviews and tell her stuff. We’re not Hayley and John, but we have our own little system that works out well.” I laughed sarcastically at that. We finished watching the show and Hayley clicked her tongue angrily.

“I don’t like this Tyson.” She told me.

I laughed and agreed, “Me either, but I sure am loving that John.” She blushed and agreed. “So let’s go eat and go to the doctor!” I shouted jumping up and put on my coat.

“Is he arrogant sounding on the phone now?” I laughed at her question.

“Ever since his third solo interview it’s like he has a fever called fame.” I joked jumping up and down out of excitement. “Brendan was so cute with the heart.” I gushed.

She laughed, “I know, him and James were all excited to be on the show.” We smiled and looped our arms outside. “So I’m driving and where do you want to go?” She asked.

“I don’t really care, where do you want to eat?” I replied distractedly. She nudged me and looked at me with questions rushing through her head. I shook my head no and shook my nagging feeling away. Our day passed by slowly and we found out the news of my pregnancy. We arrived home and went to bed.
