The end

A week passed after the wedding and Hayley and John were back from their honeymoon.

My phone went off.

“Hello,” I answered.

“Hey, do you want to get coffee with me?” Tyson asked.

“Um, James took Amelia to the zoo. So I guess I can go if you still want to?” I questioned.

“That works, I just want to talk to you. So will you meet me at Benny's cafe in an hour?” He asked abruptly.

“Ok,” I agreed before he hung up. “That was weird. I wonder how he got my number.” I mumbled to myself. I grabbed my coat and left to the coffee shop.

“Hey,” Tyson greeted me with a hug and kiss on the cheek.

“Hi, what's going on Tyson?” I asked him sitting down at the table.

He bite his lip, “I wanted to apologize. I'm so sorry for everything. I miss you and the way we were. Will you forgive me?”

“I forgave you a long time ago, Ty. Even though you were a jerk, you gave me Amelia and she's one of the best things I have.” I patted his hand gently and smiled. “I don't regret what we had.”

He grabbed my hand and held it, “Be mine again?”

I bite my lip and pulled my hand back, “I'm sorry, but you're too late. I loved you it's true, but I moved on Tyson. I married James and I love him. You had me and threw me away. So James picked me up and loved us since. You had so much time, but you blew it.”

He stood up and nodded, “So James stole you from me. Don't worry you won't hear from me again.” He walked out of the cafe and out of my life for good. That was my first love story, we fell in-love and lost it. I found it again with James and Amelia. Hayley by my side during it all.

Happily ever after’s exist even though some might not end how you want them to. Everyone has a different ending and a different story. Hayley’s story was finding prince charming, getting married, and having Blane. I fell completely in-love and it ended in heart-break, but it was worth every second. I had the best of friends that were a part of it all. Even if everything crumbles it’s better to have experienced the time, then to live in a life with no joy or sorrow because a life worth living is a life filled with memories and emotions. Never let fear of pain and regrets rule your life.
