Chapter 16

Auggies POV:
The psycho removed his mask and I saw Josh. He was laughing hysterically. "Josh?" Chris spoke in a defensive voice. "Josh?" Sam asked, confusion apparent in her voice. "Josh..." Mike spoke in an angry voice. 
"Good, good! You all have my name!" Josh said hysterically. He looked over at me. "Execpt for you Auggie." He said, his face mixed with a hysterical, sad expression. Mike stepped Infront of me, almost to protect me. Josh looked away from me. I was still shocked he was alive. I felt selfish for being happy he was alive. He explained his horrible scheme to us. How his "body" was fake. The ghosts Ash saw, the gore, the scares. Everything was fake. Except the wendigos. "Josh. In the.... Basement, how did you make me loose my memories?" I asked. Josh looked at me, a almost serious expression on his face. It faded and turned into a psychotic grin. "Great, great question Auggie. You see, I did some research and I found that if you mixed anti-depressants with anti-psychotics, it blocks all your memories and only a reversant, the purple pill Chris gave you, can reverse the effects." He laughed. "You- you need help." I said looking to the ground. I heard footsteps. "STAY AWAY FROM HER YOU BASTARD!" I heard Chris scream. Then I was engulfed in a sweaty hug, I knew it was Josh and I immedeatly hugged back. "I thought you died." I said, chocking on the words. "I'm sorry. I didn't think you'd see it." Josh said being serious for a moment. Then he went back to explain why he did the prank, acting like I wasn't there. Chris was at my side, probably so I didn't do anything stupid. "Jessica's fucking dead." Mike said. This was the angriest I've ever seen him. Josh's humor drained from his face. "What?" Josh asked innocently. "AND YOU'RE GOING TO FUCKING PAY YOU DICK!" I saw Mike advancing on Josh and before I knew what I was doing I ran Infront of Josh, shielding him from Mikes wrath as best I could. I felt a sharp pain on my head and I fell to the ground. My vision was blurred, but I saw Chris, Sam, Mike..... And Josh surrounding me. I was able to chicken out a few words before I blacked out. "It.... Wasn't... J-Josh." I said. Then I passed out, my head buzzing with pain.
