Chapter 6

Ava's P.O.V

I'm nervous,very nervous.I'm gonna have a breakdown.Two guys,both of which I know semi-well in the same house.Nothing is said.I hear the occasional growl from either of them.I sigh before breaking the tension,"Okay this is ridiculous,what do you want Athan?" I ask."I......uh.......," he sighs "We have to tell her" gesturing to Kathe.I give them a confused look,"Tell me what,you're not secretly lovers are you?" I ask,trying to lighten the mood.They both start screaming protests and arguments.I put up my hands telling them to stop,they stop."Okay" Kathe says and pulls us over to the couch.We sit down before Athan starts talking,"A long time ago there was a man and a woman,both from different royal families.They're parents never let them have contact because they hated each other.Despite this the two would sneak out and meet in the gardens.One day they joined as one (did the dirty) and the girl became pregnant.Seeing as this wasn't allowed she tried to hide it from everyone.But eventually,they all found out.Furious her mother decided that she couldn't have the child.But the girl refused to give it up.Her mother became obsessed with trying to kill it,finally she decided to kill them both.Taking a silver dagger she led the girl and child onto a cliff and tried to kill her.Plunging the dagger into her stomach,ripping it open and spilling out the unready child they fell off the cliff,leaving the crying child to be on it's own.As it wept a large grey wolf came out of the woods.Spying the child the she-wolf dragged it back to it's cave.The child still did not stop crying,so the wolf set out to find some food for it.Upon finding food she scratched her leg.Carrying back some berries and rabbit she fed the child,accidentally scratching him and mixing their blood.As she slept the child overnight had a transformation.From human to wolf,from wolf to human and finally in between.A Lycan,A werewolf.Now I know you might not believe this,but Ava,me and Kathe are both werewolves." he finishes.I laugh,no way."Yeah right,that's like me believing that AHS is real". They don't laugh. I scoff,"Okay, come on guys you don't actually expect me to believe that.....that you're werewolves do you?".They shake their heads,"But," Kathe says,"we can prove it".I sigh,"Fine,prove it".They look at each other and nod before......something inexpiable happened.It was like they held a beast inside them that suddenly took control. Kathe shifted into a big brown wolf,while Athan shifted into a big black wolf with grey paws.I sit their with my mouth open and eyes wide."Hello,my name is Cole,I am Athan's wolf". A deep voice comes out of the wolf and sends shivers down my spine."And my name is Lexus,I am Kathe's wolf". His deep voice sends even more shivers down my spine.There eyes are both black,but change to their original color when they shift back."Did you feel anything?" Athan asks."Not really,I just kinda feel a strange attraction to you both" I say.They give each other serious looks before looking at me."The reason the two royals were together was because they felt that same attraction that you feel,it's because they were mated,two people who the moon goddess set up with each other.Your mate is like your other half" Athan tells me.
