Chapter 7

Ava's P.O.V

So many things tumbling through my brain.Mates? Other half? Oh my gosh, this is the most complicated thing ever."So you're saying tha-that I'm both of your mates?". They nod their heads. "O-Okay, so what exactly does this mean for, you know, all of us?" I ask. Kathe clears his throat. "Well, if you accept us, we will be together for life, or at least until we die". I scoff, "But........but what if I wanna have other relationships, what if you know, I don't wanna be with you guys for life". They growl, "You're ours, we won't let anyone else have you,but if you must know, we will die without you". I suck in my breath."That's ridiculous, I......I........no, there's no way". They nod as if saying "It's true".I shake my head, "What happens if we're together,I mean how will it work with both of you?" I ask. Athan speaks,"We will both mate with you and you will carry our pups,we will get a joint marriage marrying us to you, and we will run the join the packs with you as our luna". I give him a confused look,"Luna? Packs?". They both groan, "You see we're both alpha's, which means we run the pack,our packs our the community of werewolves like us who listen to our command" Kathe says. I nod,"Wait there are other werewolves?". They nod,"Hundreds, we're only 2 of the thousands of packs" Athan tells me. I nod again. "So wait,what is a luna?" I ask again. "The luna is  like the female alpha,the she wolf or human who runs the pack by our side" they say."Oh,like the lieutenants, they can be either male or female".They give me a confused look,I wave them off."It's a military thing". They nod."So,how do I accept you,as my mates I mean". "Repeat after me" Kathe says.I nod,"I Ava Rivers, accept you Athan Heart and you Kathe Riece as my mates".I do and start to feel a strange connection.Like I wanna kiss them both and kill them both.They sigh before looking at me with loving eyes.We stare at each other before I feel and enchanting power surrounding me.And when I feel the effects start to work I say three words that are foreign to my mouth."Mark me now".Their eyes turn black before they rush towards me.I feel there hands all over my body,before I feel hot breath on my neck.I feel teeth grazing my neck on both sides before they plunge in.At first it feels like a thousands needles,but then it feels amazing.It felt like,the word "pleasure" was just hitting me over and over again.I moan before they pull away,wiping their mouths.I quickly snap out of it."What the hell was that?"  say lightly chuckling."That's called the mating bond,to complete it we have to have sex" Athan says slightly out of breath."Go look in the mirror" Kathe says.I walk to the bathroom and look at my neck in the mirror.It's a black mark,of a grand oak tree,with angels wings sprouting out of the trunk and our initials in the trunk.I also notice a sharp pain in my heart,but shrug it off."We're all mated now" Kathe says.And the weight of life throws itself onto me.
