After everyone crowded me and I got my grilled cheese, I quickly showered and went straight to bed. I was so tired. It was such a long day. This vacation, so far, killed. I got in a fight with everyone the minute we got up here. I ended up cutting my leg. I can't even go in the water. And I didn't even get a chance to be with Dylan, because when we were alone, we were always interrupted. I fell like with us two, that's how it's always gonna be. With all our friends and siblings, were always gonna be barged in on, or interrupted. Life sucks.

The next time something good will happen will probably on the ride back home. I mean, we won't be up at the beach house, which seems to be where all my bad luck generates.

I went to bed really early last night, so I was up at 6 am. No one else in the house was, I mean we're all a bunch of lousy teenagers who sit around an do nothing. I put on my bathing suit (even though I couldn't even go in the water) and put a hoodie and short jean shorts on over it. I put my hair in braids the night before, so I took them out and I had nice, curly beach waves. I put on a bit of mascara, some concealer under my eyes, and some blush.

It was 6:15 by the time I was ready, so I decided to take a walk on the beach. My leg still hurt, but it wasn't as bad. Plus, it was nice to watch the sunrise. I didn't mind my leg right now. I walked about a mile, adding there and back. Half a mile there, and half a mile back. I picked up some seashells along the way and let the breeze drift on my skin. I got back to our house and still didn't wanna go back inside. It was 8 by now and I'm sure at least one person had to be up. I sat right in front of the waves and watched the tide come up just enough to brush over my toes. I sat in the sand and just watched the ocean.

It was so peaceful. Why couldn't everything just be this simple? No clue.

"Good morning." I turned behind me and saw Dylan walking towards me. He sat down in the sand right by me and smiled.

"Hey Dyl." That's all we said. Besides that, I leaned my head on his shoulder and we just sat there, enjoying each others company.

(SWITCHING TO THE PEOPLE INSIDE)

"Hey, it's been almost thirty minutes. Why won't they move or say anything?"

"I don't know Julia, why don't you go ask them?" Damon was getting upset.

"Oh, shut up. You're just jealous because you don't have anyone to sit on the beach with."

"She got you there man." Colton laughed and made fun of Damon.

"I mean, they said nothing was going on with them, but obviously something is." Peyton got defensive.

"Maybe they were lying." Everyone turned their heads to Spencer. They all knew he was hiding something.

"Spenc, spill the deets," Julia said, waiting for him to respond.

"Ok, but listen, you didn't hear it from me." They all joined in a huddle and Spencer began telling them everything. "I was talking to Dylan last night and he kept saying he was worried about her and she scared him. I gave him pure bullshit by saying stuff like 'oh, interesting, you care about her, or whatever.' He kept saying 'not like that that and that I wasn't thinking what he was.' He swore he didn't like her like that. But finally, I said he liked her and he told me to shut up. And then I said 'but you're not denying it' and he said to just be quiet otherwise he'd get shit from Peyton and Colton.

"Awh, my baby brother likes Bridget."

"You're baby brother's scared of me and Peyton." They laughed and Julia joined them.

Dylan and I walked in and saw everyone in a huddle, laughing.

"Uh guys, everything good?" Everyone looked up and tried to answer my question.

"Oh yea, never better sis. Why were you up so early?"

"I couldn't sleep."

"Oh, and what about you Dylan?"

"I-uh-oh, um same."

"Intimidated much?" Colton was messing with him now.

"A little." He breathed under his breath. No one herd it, but I did. I started laughing and everyone looked at me.

"I'm gonna make pancakes, who wants some?" Everyone raised their hands.

"I'll help you."

"Thanks Julia."

"Sure," she whispered. "I need to talk to you anyways."
