Hey guys! I know I haven't updated in FOREVER but I've been super busy. But it's summer now so hopefully I can update more 😘😘

It was him. It was Dylan O'Brien.

My brothers best friend. My biggest crush. My biggest heartbreaker...

It was so weird seeing him and I didn't know what to do. All my thoughts were racing through my head and I couldn't get any words out. Dylan just kept looking at me. What was I supposed to do?

I sat in his lap for three more seconds until I realized what had happened. I quickly got up and looked over at the volleyball net. Everyone was looking at me and telling me to come back. I finally got the courage to speak.

"Ummm, sorry for landing on you. I gotta get back to my friends."

With that, I ran off and didn't say anything else. I didn't know what else to say. I was tired and totally caught off guard. I wanted to tell him that I missed him and that I really wanted to hang out with him. But he probably met someone else or he probably forgot all about me.

I ran back to the net and a few tears ran down my cheek. I wiped them away and began to act like nothing happened. I was so close to the net, but I heard Dylan calling behind me.

"Bridget, please wait." I was tempted to continue running. "Bridget, please stop. I need to talk to you."

I turned around and tried to control myself. "What?"

He looked at me in awe and I could tell he was getting upset. "I wanna talk to you."

"Then talk." I was so mad. He can't just show up like this and expect me to talk to him after he just left.

"Bridget, I didn't mean to leave and never call or visit. I got caught up in what I was doing. I don't expect you to forgive me but I at least want to talk to you in private and figure things out. Please."

"Dylan, you left and I thought everything was gonna be okay because I figured you would call or visit. I really liked you. I was falling for you."

"I really liked you too. I didn't plan on leaving and you know that. It came up on me and I didn't have a choice. But I'm here now and I need to talk to you and I need to try and prove to you that I still really like you. I still want to be with you. All I can do is try."

I stood there and didn't say anything. I had to think. Dylan broke the silence. "Meet me at my house around eight at night."

I nodded my head and looked in his eyes. As much as I was mad at him, I still missed his beautiful brown eyes.

He smiled when I nodded and he ran off with the guy who was under the umbrella with him.

Kalina came over to me and asked about what just happened. I told her I ran into and old friend and I had to leave. She smiled and waved goodbye. I said bye to Izzy and all the other people playing. I got in my car and zoomed off to the nearest Starbucks. I needed some caffeine after everything that had just happened.

I pulled up to the nearest Starbucks and quickly got my drink. I rushed home and parked my car in the driveway. I gathered all my stuff and ran into the house and up the stairs. I pushed my door open that lead to my room and I dropped all my stuff on the ground and collapsed on my bed.

What was I gonna do? Was I going to meet Dylan? Ugh, it all seemed so complicated. I got under my covers and closed my window shade. All I could do was sleep it off. It was 2pm and I had six hours to decide what I wanted to do. I knew that I would spend two of the hours sleeping and I'd come back to my dilemma around 4pm. I closed me eyes and fell right asleep.

-----------------------------------------------------
I woke up a little later... I was really tired from volleyball. It was about 5pm when I woke up and I still didn't know what to do. I decided to go downstairs and see what everyone else was up to.

"Hey Mom. Hey Dad. So, what's the plan for dinner tonight?"

My mom looked up from her computer and answered me. "The O'brien family is coming over for dinner in about and hour."

An hour? I have the get ready.

"Oh ok." I ran up the stairs quickly and got undressed. I got in the shower and rinsed off. I only had about 40 minutes to get ready and mentally prepare myself for Dylan.

I did my makeup and eventually I blow dried my hair and straightened it after it was dry. I changed into a summer dress and wore my Birkenstocks to math the dress. I had about 10 minutes until Dylan and his family would be over for dinner. I was very confused though... why would Dylan tell me to come over to his house around 8pm if he's coming over for dinner around 6pm? Whatever, I couldn't stress about it now.

I walked down the stairs and saw all my siblings in the kitchen. We all helped with the final touches for dinner and the doorbell finally rang. I was so nervous.

My dad walked to the door and answered it. I saw Dylan's parents walk in and after them I saw Julia. However, no Dylan. I walked over to his parents and said hello.  Then I gave Julia a huge hug because I haven't seen her in a while. The last few months she's been super busy, so we haven't spent that much time together. She's also getting ready to leave again for college. She can back for the summer, but the school year was almost back in session. We talked about school and sports, but I couldn't really focus because all I was thinking about was Dylan.

After thirty minutes of catching up, I finally asked her where her brother was. She told me he was going out to eat with his friend from the show. She said he would be back around 8pm. So I guess me meeting him at his house was still a go?

Everyone ate dinner and helped clean the dishes. It was around 7:45 when our parents decided to bring out dessert. All night I had been debating on meeting Dylan or not. I finally decided that the only way I could get him out of my head was to see him. I told my parents that I was gonna go out and get some fresh air. Julia stayed inside with Spencer and the other hooligans.

I walked across the street and up a few blocks. I stood outside of Dylan's house for a few minutes and I finally got the nerve to ring the doorbell.
