"i've heard you've been in contact with the love of my life recently. which means you know where she is." niklaus raises his eyebrows expectantly, brandishing the knife in his hands. the man before him is being restrained by vervain soaked chains, already putting him in enough pain. "please, do tell."

one of his minions had tipped him off to the sighting earlier this week and it didn't take klaus long to find someone who'd spoken to her.

"i... can't." he splutters out, the vervain burning him whenever he so much as breathes. klaus, not being happy with this answer, stabs the knife into the vampire's chest, twisting as he screams in agony.

klaus hadn't come this close to finding elle to not get any information. he planned to stay here as long as it took to get his answers.

"i'm afraid that's not the right answer mate, need some more persuading?" klaus smirks evilly, shaking the vervain chains as to burn his prisoner. he gasps as the chains burn his skin and his face contorts in pain, making his captor smile in satisfaction.

"please... she'd kill me.." he begs, spluttering out despite the pain.

"well, if you don't tell me then i'll just kill you myself. so one of us might as well get what we want." klaus says, before stabbing him yet again, painfully close to the heart this time.

"she's- she's in mystic falls." he splutters, giving in. "mystic falls."

"see? that wasn't so hard now, was it?" klaus says before ripping out the vampire's heart swiftly. "and neither was that." he drops the heart to the floor before walking away.
