Things weren't always like this, people rising from the dead, back and forth. Sibling killing sibling, friend killing friend. Evil spirits, she never believed in evil spirits, none of us really did.

Ebony, our eldest was our pure light in the darkness, we should have listened to her when she told us to stop. But we didn't, to drunk on power, to thirsty for more...

We couldn't stop.

We didn't want to, it was to, fun.

Killing, we shouldn't have liked it as much as we did. Using our powers to their full extant, being able to breath for the first time in the three years we've had our cursed powers.

Not feeling as though the weight of the world rested on our shoulders.

Our powers only grew stronger as they were brought together, slowly, one by one.

It all started with jealousy really, when someone was given something we didn't have because she did something we never did, she cared.

The word triumph means different things to different people, for some, it was laughing in the face of their slain enemies, gazing into the eyes of their most beloved or giggling wildly as they run their fingers through mountains upon mountains of treasures.

For our family, it meant the latter.
