I took a step back in shock, my eyes wide and my lips parted."M-me?! You sure you don't have the wrong sister??" The man glanced across the room to where three of my siblings were still bickering.
"Unless one of their names are Luna Anarchy, then no, I do not think so." My cheeks heated up and I tried to keep my gaze from shifting uncomfortably.
He tilted his head, his chocolate brown shaggy hair falling to the side somewhat resembling a curtain.
"I-I-I-" I had failed in my attempt at keeping my gaze fixed on this mysterious man's face.
"-Would love to??" He finished hopefully, his much larger hand holding out for my gloved one.
My eyes slipped closed and I allowed my breathing to even. I straightened up and forced a pleasant smile upon my face.
"Ah, yes! Ahem. Yes, I would definitely love to." Hesitantly, I placed my hand in his and he gently, as not to startle me, pulled me into the crowd of perfectly synced couples dancing the all time classic, the waltz.
I kept my head down throughout the dance, occasionally glancing from side to side, always on alert
My head kept me awake, and paranoid that another of my, lovely siblings had found out about this little get together. Ebony and Lucy I could handle, and even if I sometimes do want to hit Zero, he's been there with me through it all.
I should not be thinking of my siblings when in the arms of a handsome man who had approached me and asked me to dance. It wasn't fair to him that I couldn't focus on him like I should be.
"Angel, what could possibly be troubling you??" My head automatically shots up to look at the man properly.
I couldn't possibly say what was really bothering me... It's true everyone has family problems, just mine could possibly want to kill me.
"How is it everyone know's it is me??" My excuse was pie but he seemed I have believed it.
The man smiled and cocked his ahead to the side. It might have been my imagination, but it looked as though his eyes had sparked as he spoke.
"It must be your eyes." It must be his gift, abnormal eyes or something around that.
Warm air floored our comfortable space of cold air as I felt a weight on my bare shoulder.
"Yeah, no. I really don't think so. And who might you be?? Should I be asking what you're intentions are towards my sister?? Or should I play the big brother and kick you're ass??" My body stiffened, I knew that voice, I knew it just as well as I hated it.
The man however, stayed calm, and even dared to smile.
"No, no, of course not Mr Anarchy. Perhaps I'll see you around Luna." The masked man nodded his farewells and took his leave, darting around couples and soon he was no longer visible, only another head in the sea of bodies before me.
"I sincerely doubt it." The voice was stern, but still I refused to turn around and face my cold hard reality.
A hand snaked around my arm, his grip was like iron reminding me that even if I had bothered to try an escape, there would be no hope for me to do so. He was stronger than me without our abilities, but I was stronger with mine and if he had me by the arm or even a sleeve, I was in trouble.
"Brother... Have you always been an insufferable asshole, or have I caught you on a good day??" I brought my other hand to my mouth and coughed slightly to clear my throat of any waver it might of had.
"Only for you sister dear. Now, show me to our dear siblings would you??" He spun me around, and wrapped his other hand around my other arm.
He hadn't changed, not one bit. His hair had grown a little maybe, but it was still the same deep shade of purple I remembered. His eyes were still the most striking green I'd ever seen and he still towered over me at 5 foot 8 feet.
"Nothing would please me more." I spoke without pause and tugged my arms free of his hold, though if he had wanted to keep me there, he wouldn't have had trouble doing so.
I'd shimmied through the crowd, my size helped, and I'd had hoped would have been enough to slow the purple haired man down, but no, he remained attached to my side the whole way through, much like a parasite that refused to leave.
My steps slowed once we reached our small inner circle of siblings, while I had stopped, he had not.
He continued, I knew what was about to happen, as did he.
I kept my facial expression blank, only tensing slightly when a high pitch sound of skin to skin contact was made. Lucy kept her hand raised to the side where it had flung after nailing the man on his left cheek. He hadn't flinched away, that's probably why Lucy hadn't tackled hi to the ground and started throwing punch after punch.
"Well, well, well. We leave for three years and look what happens." Two girls stepped forward from the crowd.
The one to the right had her dark brown hair up in a pony tail, her bangs so long they rested on her shoulders. Her eyes were mismatching, one silver, one red with a scar running down from her brow to her cheek bone. Her skin was pale, her state was blank, her dress was black and showed off her legs perfectly.
And the girl to the right also had dark brown hair, however she wore it down I'm natural curls that fell down her mid back. This girls eyes mirrored the first perfectly, their eyes were opposite. She had slightly tanner skin, probably from all that time in Europe. Her dress was white ad matched her sister's perfectly.
The girls were twins, and matched each other in their height and their body structure, lean and flat chested. Not that you could tell, both had stuffed their bras with tissue paper.
"Yin, Yang, how have you two been??"
