Ellianna's POV-
Monday came and went and just as I thought Gage stopped me after class and asked me when I was planning on going shopping. I told him Avery and I would go Wednesday and he told me the car would be outside the dorm and handed me a spare key. Me and Avery spent the next two days in the dorm room doing homework and eating, the so called food, from the commons area down stairs. I hope the professors lighten up on the homework for the end of the week because I will be loosing two days of studying. Its Tuesday night just before eight and I'm getting tired from looking at the computer screen. Avery is laying on her bed typing away on her lab top. I stretch my arms above my head and turn to her and say "I'm going to go take a shower." She keeps typing totally on a roll with her paper and nods her head.
I get my bag and pick out a shirt to sleep in and head to the shower. It fairly dead in here and I have my pick of the shower. I step in and let the warm water fall over my back and shoulders. The past two days have gone by so slow and I know it's because I'm wanting Friday to get here. Hopefully shopping tomorrow will make the day go by faster. I'm excited to spend the time with Gage but also nervous to meet all his friends. I wash my hair, shave my legs and rinse off. I quickly climb out, dry off, and slip my t-shirt and underwear on. I grab my stuff and head back to the room. Avery's still typing away so I decide to read. I put my stuff down and grab my kindle and hop under the covers. Avery says with out looking up or stopping "I'll be done in a few minutes." I told her it was fine and that I was going to read for awhile.
I looked through my books and decided to find a new one. I decide against a romance novel because that's the last thing I need to read about. I need to keep my head clear this week if I'm going to make it through the weekend with Gage around. I find one and buy it. I just finished the first chapter when Avery got up and put her books and computer on her desk. She looked down at me and said "going to the bathroom." I couldn't help it I said "no, I stopped peeing the bed when I was four" and winked at her. She laughed and said "smart ass" and walked out the door. I let out a quick laugh and started reading again. Avery came in locked the door and made her way to her closet to change. A few minutes later she climbed in bed and I looked over at her and she was just laying down grabbing her phone. "You still talking to Erik?" I asked and she looked over at me, with a big grin on her face, and said "yes." I didn't say anything and smiled at her and looked back at my kindle. I wonder if those two would hit it off and Avery would be a permanent addition to my life. That thought put another smile on my face.
An hour later I powered down my kindle and looked over to Avery still on her phone. I just shook my head and put my kindle on the floor, reached up and turned my light off, and said "I'm going to bed." She looked over at me and said "o.k." then she reached up and turned her light off.
I got my normal wake up call with Avery pouching on my bed saying "wake-ie wake-ie Elli! We get to go shopping today!" I rolled over smiling at her and said "must you always wake me up like this?" She stopped pouncing on my bed and said "Yep!" and then stood up. She walked over to her bed to grabbed her bag and I sat up and said "what time you wanna go?" I had already researched where we would go and I was positive I would find something there. She said "you wanna meet at 3:30 again?" I pulled the blankets away and got up and said "yeah, sounds good. I'll meet you back here" I headed for the closet and she said as she opened the door "see ya!" I said the same and got out a pair of shorts and a shirt. I quickly got dressed and brushed my hair and pulled it into a messy bun. I grabbed my bag and walked to the bathroom. I had more time to get ready than normal since I didn't lay in bed debating on whether to get up. I applied a little make up and went to use the bathroom. I was excited about shopping and I knew my mom wouldn't mind using the credit card she gave me but I wanted to call and make sure. I made my way out the door and grabbed my bag and dialed her number.
