Chapter 34

Gage's POV-

     Erik and I were standing at the bottom of the stairs waiting on Ellianna and Avery to come down.  We were making small talk when we heard the cab driver beep the horn.  Erik shot me a frustrating look and I knew it was because the girls were taking forever to get ready.  I hope Ellianna isn't wearing anything to reveling or I may have to go all cave man on her.  Not sure she would appreciate that.  Erik walked up to the stairs and yelled "come on girls! The cab is here." 

     Then we heard Ellianna yell "give us five minutes."  Erik let out a frustrating huff and ran his hand through his hair.  I just smiled at him thinking "I've done that so many times since I met your sister."  He looked up at me and said "what in the world could be taking them so long.  They've been up there for over and hour."  I wish I had an answer for him but I didn't so instead I shook my head and said "I have no idea." 

     I walked over to the door and opened it and motioned to the cab driver we would be right out.  He didn't look happy so I yelled "start the meter."  Then I stood back and shut the door and said "what is it with cab drivers being so impatient."  Erik was now leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and said "I don't know but I wouldn't what their jobs."  He didn't say it in a way that made me think he looked down on them just that he wouldn't want to be driving people around all day and night.  I totally agree. I wouldn't want to do that either. 

     Erik looked back up the stairs and looked like he wanted to say something but he is a smart guy and didn't.  He looked back over to me and I couldn't help but let out a laugh.  A minute later we could hear Ellianna and Avery talking and Erik pushed off the wall and said "it's about time."  He only said it to me, again, smart guy.  I looked up and seen Ellianna and Avery, arms linked, laughing about something.  I loved hearing her laugh but what I wasn't crazy about was what she was wearing.

     Her and Avery had on very short shirts and fuck me heels.  I just closed my eyes and thought "this is going to be a long night."  I opened my eyes when I heard Erik say "damn woman you look hot!"  Avery let out a small laugh and said "you don't look so bad yourself."  Ellianna just smiled then she looked me up and down.  She raked her teeth through her bottom lip and I felt my dick twitch.  I have no doubt in my mind I was crazy in love with this woman.  She made it to the bottom step, walked over to me, and looked up.  I just smiled at her and said "you look beautiful."  She raked her teeth through her lips again, gave me a big smile, shook her head and said "back at ya Professor Maddox." 

      I swear I don't know what it is when she looks at me like that, says my name like that, but all I want to do is throw her over my shoulder and take her upstairs.  I stopped thinking about that when Erik said "your skirt is really short?"  I snapped my head to look at him thinking maybe he had said that to Ellianna.  He was looking at Avery and I thought "o.k. maybe not as smart as I thought."  Avery just smiled and said "yeah, Elli picked it out.  She said you would love it."  Then she smiled at him and walked to the door.  Erik just glared at Ellianna who was standing there with a big grin on her face.  Avery opened the door and said over her shoulder "come on I'm ready to party." 

   Erik followed her and I grabbed Ellianna's hand and said "you better stick close to me tonight baby."  She smiled and looked up at me and said "o? why is that?"  I just looked at her and shook my head and said "you know why."  We walked out and all got into the cab.  Erik sat up front and Avery Ellianna and I climbed in the back. We all got our seat belts on and I grabbed Ellianna's hand again.  Erik was having some trouble with his and the cab driver said in a frustrated voice "where too?" 

     Erik said "Woody's on 1st drive."  Ellianna leaned up and said "why are we going there?"  I could tell that wasn't the place she thought we were going then Erik said "because I told Jack I would bring you by so he could buy you a beer.  He wanted to see ya."  Ellianna leaned back and let out a breath.  She had a small smile on her face and said "O."  I leaned in thinking "who the fuck is Jack?" and whispered "should I be worried?"  She looked at me and smiled and said "no."  Then she shook her head and let out a small giggle.
