Chapter 51

O.k. people... HERE you go... Hope you like this chapter.  I can't believe I'm to this point in the story.  I thought I would never get here.  I love all your comments and can't wait to read what you have to say about this chapter.  :o)  I'm almost there.... I've been writing this since April and can't wait to finish it.  Sorry if the editing is bad.  Everyone knows by now I'm not good at that but felt the need to apologize for it... let me know what you think.  I have to work all day tomorrow but hopefully I can write  all day Sunday and have another update soon. 

Ellianna's POV-

     I sat in the front seat looking down at a picture of what apparently is my babies.  Holy shit.  I have two babies growing inside of me.  It took everyone twenty minutes to get me to snap out of it.  Once they did I looked up at Avery and started crying again.  It took another ten minutes for me to stop so we could go home.  I looked over at Avery and back out the window.  I needed to not freak out again.  The doctor told me to take it easy and rest as much as I could. 

     I took a deep breath and Avery said "how you doing over there?"  I turned and looked at her.  I smiled at her and said "I'm o.k."  She looked at me quickly then back to the road.  Grace was in the back and said "I still can't believe your going to have twins."  I looked back at her and smiled and said "your not the only one."  I turned back around glad we were almost home.  I planned on getting my jammies on and taking a nap.

     We pulled into the garage five minutes later and Avery turned to me and said "you want us to help you?"  I smiled at her and said "no."  I unbuckled my seat beat and opened my door and said "thank you though."   Once I walked around I looked at Avery and Grace standing there.  I smiled at them and said "thank you guys for being there with me."  They pulled me into a group hug and Avery said "we will always be here for you."  We walked in and I told them I was going to go lay down.

      I got my jammies on and climbed in the bed.  I looked at the ultrasound picture one last time and put it on the table.  I set my alarm so I wouldn't sleep through the night.  If I missed a call from Gage he would probably be on the next flight here.  I really wish he was here with me right now.  I laid the phone next to my pillow and closed my eyes. 

     I feel asleep fast to an dreamless sleep.  I heard my phone and hit the button for it to stop.  I was going to have to get through this phone call without him knowing something was up.  I sat up and pushed the blankets off and got up.  I went to the bathroom and thanked God again because I wasn't bleeding.  I grabbed my phone and walked down stairs.  Avery and Grace were sitting in the living room watching t.v.  Avery turned when she heard me come down the last step and said "how you feeling momma?"

     I smiled at her and said "I'm not bleeding anymore."  Grace and her just smiled at me and I walked into the living room.  I said "have you guys eaten yet?"  Grace said "yes, we saved you a plate and left it in the fridge."  I said "who cooked?"  Grace started laughing knowing why I asked that and Avery said "o. shut up I'm getting better."  I just laughed and patted her on the shoulder and said "of course you are dear."  She rolled her eyes and looked back to the t.v.

     I walked into the kitchen and pulled the plate from the fridge.  I couldn't help but smile when I looked down and seen that it was chicken and carrots.  I put the plate in the microwave and turned it on.  I got a glass out and went and poured a big glass of milk.  God what I wouldn't do for a big glass of chocolate milk right now.  I need to remember to get some from the store tomorrow.  I took a long sip then top the glass off again.

      I got my food out of the microwave and took it to the living room.  I sat down and put my glass on the coffee table.  I noticed Avery and Grace were drinking wine.  Umm. that sounded good after a day like today but I'll have to settle for milk.  Avery looked over at me and smiled.  I said "tomorrow after the doctors appointment don't let me forget to stop by the store and get some chocolate milk."  Avery shook her head and said "I'm surprised you haven't gotten any yet?"  I just looked at her and said "I know right.  I would kill for a glass right now."
