Chapter Seven

Deuce

"I told you that if you ever laid a hand on Arina you would regret it. Now you're going to fucking pay!" I screech and then tackle Jeff to the floor.

He tries to push me off, but I don't let him. I punch him in the face, once, twice, three times. My fist was bloody already, and I start punching him harder as the front door swings open, revealing my boyfriend and his band along with the girls. I didn't stop; he deserves it. George shoves me off him after five minutes of me punching him. The blue-masked rapper starts kicking him in the ribs and the others all join in, making me smile. We're all together again, beating the shit out of a lowlife that's fucking my sister. Ironically enough, it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling deep inside my heart. Goddamn I sound like a pussy right now. But these eight people are my family, and we don't leave anyone behind.

"He's out. Now let's go home." George says, and Danny grabs a hold of my hand.

We head out the door, and everyone had smiles on their faces. This is how we used to be, back when we weren't a band. A big group of friends, just being ourselves, but now we have Danny and the girls and we're a bigger family than ever. Arrowbella squeaks softly and then stops walking, making her shy purple-haired counterpart stop as well.

"We should have a family dinner Dad! With the band, Deuce, Seth, Scava, and Arina!" Arry exclaims.

I watch as her counterpart brightened up. She nods quickly, as does Matt and Dylan. The others all nod along with them. Danny smiles brightly at me. I smile back and lean in to kiss him gently. He does the same. Our lips touch and I smile into it, feeling butterflies blossoming in my bloodstream. I finally knew that I found love.

"We need to go get dinner started Arrow. Everybody better be at uncle Dyl's house by eight!" Jewel says and drags Arrow away.
"We should go to the skate park! Man I haven't been there in forever!" Matty chirps eagerly.

"Sure!" Danny says.

"Hell maybe we could tag some places like we used to!" Jorel chuckles lowly and we all nod.

We get into Charlie's Durango, Danny crawling into my lap as I slide into the passenger seat. Charlie grunts at Danny's action and starts driving to the nearest Neff skate shop. We all needed new boards and paint for this. As soon as we get there, the clerk sees us, and smiles. On the way to Neff, we decided that the couples can pick out each other's boards and Charlie has to pick his and get Arrowbella a new board. We all walk over to the boards, and I smile, seeing one perfect for Danny. The design had a gold background and a black rose on it with a microphone under it. I make sure he wasn't looking before I took it off the wall.

"I'm going to go pay for this." I tell Matt and holding the board with the design pressed against my chest. He nods and I walk up to the cashier. I place the board down on the counter and he rings it up.
"54.99 please. Will there be anything else for you today? We have stickers and stuff." The cashier asks, making me curious about what kind of stickers they have here.

He shows me the stickers. I smile, picking out a pack of graffiti letter stickers. The cashier adds it to my tab and I pay him with three twenties. I grab Danny's board and the stickers, before taking them out to the Durango. Then I get in the passenger seat and wait for the others. One by one, my friends were coming back to the Durango. Danny was last; he climbs onto my lap, smiling widely. I smile back at him.

"We got spray paint!" Jorel yips happily and my smile gets bigger.
"To the skate park!" Danny squeals.

"To the skate park!" We yell it back at him as we drive off.

We were there in less than ten minutes, and we all get out, holding the boards we bought for each other. Danny hands me mine and I hand him the one I bought. His eyes light up when he sees his, and he jumps onto me with a hug before I could even look at mine. I hug him back tightly.

"Look at yours!" He giggles excitedly.

I look at it, as my eyes widen. It had a silver background with a pink diamond, much like the tattoo on my arm, and blue music notes.

"It's beautiful..." I say, looking at him.

He beams at me. We look over to see what the others had gotten. George's had a blue background with bunch of butterflies on it, and he was putting a number three sticker on it. Jorel held one with a white background and bright red blood splatter over it; he sat down on the ground, placing a dollar sign sticker in the middle. I remember that I had bought stickers as well. I take them out, and smirk. We could all use them to put our names on the boards! Danny grabs them and runs away.

"Danny!" I chuckle, as he jumps onto Matt.

"Matt help!" My boyfriend squeaks.
"Those stickers are for everybody!" I tell him.
"I want to see the rest of the boards!" He demands and I roll my eyes.

Dylan holds up his board, and I chuckle, it had a black background with a silver cannabis leaf in the middle. Matt shows us his and I smile. His had a white background with a pair of crossed drumsticks and a cupcake sticker under them. Danny looks over at Charlie, who grumbles and shows him his board. It was black with a red machine gun on it.

I pass the graffiti stickers around. Soon everybody was ready to skate. Danny went first, speeding down the half-pipe like a pro. I follow my love, smirking. Everyone was doing tricks, trying to create their own. I do a rail slide, laughing as Dylan skates into Charlie, making them both fall.

"Let's go tag some shit!" Danny exclaims, doing a perfect kick-flip over a ramp.
