I was hurt, I don't know how, but I was all alone.
"Hello?" I said as I got up from the forest ground. No one was there. My arm hurt like crazy.
"Where am I?!" I yelled to no one. Then I saw it. A giant monster that I had never seen before.
"Hello Dani." It said in a low evil voice.
"What do you want!?" I yelled in fear.
"You." Was all it said.
I almost jumped out of my bed. Tears were streaming down my face. It was just a nightmare. It felt so real. It was the middle of the night, the room was pitch black, but I could still make out figure shapes of Georgina, Xavier, and somewhere I knew was Lovely. I got up and carefully walked to the main room. I turned on an oil lamp to illuminate the room, but not enough so it was really visible in the bedroom. I took out an apple, since I was a little hungry after that crazy nightmare. I was honestly scared to go back to sleep. But after a few minutes of eating my apple and talking to myself, I finally returned to the bedroom and went to sleep.
"Hello again Dani." The monster said again, but this time I didn't see a monster, I saw Xavier.
"Xavier? What?! How can you be the monster!" I said in disbelief. He smiled evilly and shrugged.
"Some of the people you think you can trust the most ending up being your worst enemies." He said.
"No. No this can't be true. This is just a dream. This isn't real. You aren't evil. You can't be!" I said, tears poured down from my eyes. My vision grew blurry and I felt light headed. I felt like someone was shaking my head around.
"DANI!!!" I sat up straight in my bed and screamed. Xavier was holding my arm. I ripped it out of his grasp and stared at him.
"Are you ok?" He said.
"I don't know, I don't know anything anymore." I said. I got out of bed, this time, it was very bright outside and everyone was awake. We walked over to the main room and I sat down in my chair.
"What happened in your dream? You were crying so much, like someone had died or something." Georgina said.
"Or something." I mumbled.
"Dani really, are you ok?" Xavier asked.
"Yes ok! I'm fine! Now stop asking!" I yelled standing up from the chair. I practically ran out the door, I couldn't be around Xavier at the moment. I was still processing what happened. But of course, I heard footsteps behind me.
"Dani wait!" Xavier's voice said.
"Leave me alone Xavier!" I yelled. I felt a hand on my arm and spun around. I almost punched Xavier but I didn't, instead I just slapped him.
"What is up with you!" He yelled after recovering from the slap.
"You! Ok! If you really want to know, it's you!" I yelled. Great, now I have to explain everything to him.
"What are you talking about? What happened in your dream?" He asked, just like I thought.
"First, I saw a monster, and it hurt me. Badly. But then I woke up. But when I went back to sleep, instead to the monster, I saw you." I said, tears once again battling to roll down my cheeks. "I couldn't believe it. I kept denying it, but then, I don't know, you said something. You said something that scared me so much."
"What?" He asked.
"You said that Some of the people you think you can trust the most ending up being your worst enemies. And I don't know what to do." I started sobbing, I clasped into Xavier and he hugged me for support.
"You know that I would never do that to you. I care about you. I care about you a lot." He said.
"I know, that's why I couldn't believe it. But it felt so real that I wasn't sure." I said, my tears calming down.
"Come on, lets go back to the house." He said, letting me go and taking my hand. We walked to the house, but I felt like something was wrong. I let it go, and walked into the house.
"Dani, are you really ok?" Georgina said rushing over to me and hugging me.
"Yes Georgina, I'm really ok, I'm better now." I said.
"Ok, but you better not be lying to me." She said.
"I'm not, don't worry." I said with a small smile.
"Come on, we should probably get going from here, we don't want to stay in one place for too long." I said. We all agreed and started pack up our stuff to take. Luckily, we had out magic bag that never grew bigger or heavier to we put as much stuff as we could find to put in there, even the blankets from the bed and the oil lamp.
"I think that's good." I said. The house sort of seemed empty now that we took most items from it. We went out the door and walked North, away from the castle and kingdom, and farther into the forest, where a something very big was going to happen, good or bad, we didn't know.
