When Xavier and I came into the city, not many people were around.

"That's strange," I thought "I would think more people would be out, it's not very late out."

"Where is everyone?" I asked Xavier. He looked back at me showing a unknowing look.

"No idea," he said.

"Great, this makes me feel so much better," I said sarcastically.

"I'm sure it does." Xavier said with a laugh. I smiled at his joke and held on tighter to him that before, which was fairly tight. I heard in suck in breath because I was holding him to tight, so I let go a little.

"You have a tight grip Dani," he said, looking back at me. I laughed a little.

"So, are we still going to go get me another dress, then go to the restaurant?" I asked, getting a little uncomfortable.

"Oh yes! Yes, here, let me help you down." He said as he climbed off the horse then held out his hands to help me. I took them gladly and climbed down. On my way down from the saddle, my foot caught on a foot hold a I fell backwards.

"Whoa! Whaaaaaaahhhhh!" I screamed. I closed my eyes, waiting to hit the ground, but then, I felt a hand on my neck and my back, Xavier had caught me right before I was about to hit the ground!

"Got you!" he said, with a scared smile on his face.

"Thank you!" I said, he pulled me up, but a little to fast and I fell into him, taking him aback. "Um, thanks Xavier, for grabbing me." I said, backing away from him.

"Uh, no problem, it was nothing." He said. I smiled, knowing that was a lie.

"Well, lets go get me a new dress." I said, trying to break the small tension that was happening. His face lit up a little,

"Ya! Lets get you out of that ragity thing!" he said, following me, though I had no idea where the tailor was.

"So, where is the tailor?" I asked shyly, I felt a little stupid for not knowing.

"Right over here," He said, leading me to the right. After walking a ways and making a few turns, we came upon a small shop that had a light inside so we knew it must be open. We went in and a woman around the age of 30 came up to us and said

"How do you do! How may I help you?"

"We are just fine thank you. We are looking for a new dress for me, as you can see, my dress in ruined." I said to her. She looked at my dress then stared at us in shock.

"Um, well, come with me dear, I'll get you the perfect dress." The woman said with a fake smile. After telling Xavier to stay there and giving him a reassuring smile to help calm his weird uneasiness, I followed the woman behind a curtain and started to try on dresses.

After trying on what felt like a million dresses, it was time to pick a dress. I took out from the list about three quarters of the dresses and only had 4 dresses left. I decided that I would try them all on again but this time, show Xavier, then he could help me decide. I tried on the first dress, then walked out,

"Xavier, what do you think?" I asked him.

"Is that the one you want?" He asked back.

"I can't decide between like 4 different dresses so I'm going to show you and you'll then help me decide." I explained to him. He nodded is head then told me that that one was and "Ok" dress. I tried on two others which he didn't seem to like, so they were 'good bye' dresses. My last one I tried on was my favorite of them all, it was a puffed short sleeved, sweetheart neckline dress that was navy blue and violet. I was floor length and wasn't tight but wasn't big enough for a hoop (Which I was thankful for). I walked out and I could feel myself blushing when Xavier's mouth dropped.

"Wow, you look gorgeous," was all he could manage.

"So you like it?" I asked, already knowing the answer. Xavier stood up and walked over to me. He grabbed my hands and said

"I don't like it, I love it."

I smiled,

"Then lets get this one!" I said. Xavier smiled and looked at the woman who was tearing up for some reason. Xavier bought the dress and then we walked out. Now, I was tired, but starving.

"Xavier, I know you want to go to the restaurant, but can we go there another day, I'm starving but am about to fall asleep." I said as we got on the horse, I was a little more difficult with this dress, but I got it.

"That is perfectly fine my princess, I'll take you home." He said.

"Sounds good, but lets try not to wake up anyone when we get there." I said, after that, I fell asleep.
