Hey everyone! So I'm sorry that my chapters are so short. I feel like where I stop leaves a good cliff hanger, even though they are only a few pages long. Anyways, please continue to read, vote, and comment! I haven't gotten any comments yet so I hope that's a good sign!
Have a wonderful rest of your day!
Also, this chapter will be like the end of the last chapter and will have things that would most likely not happen in the time period this book is set in. You have been warned.......

"Seriously Georgina, I don't think I need all of this! I don't even know if I'm supposed to dress like a princess or not! We are going to be in public!" I yell a Georgina though the dressing room wall.

"Pssshhhh! Nonsense! Your going on a date! You need to be dressed up like this! Come on out, let me fix anything out of place!" She yelled back. I sighed and opened the dressing room door for Georgina to see. She gasped when she first saw me.

"What! Does this dress make me look weird!? I'll go take it off!" I said quickly, trying to make her let me take this dress off.

"No no no you don't!" she says, grabbing my arm just before I make it to the dressing room. I sigh and walk back so she could adjust the dress. "There! Your all set!" she said after a few agonizing minutes. "Oh don't give me that look!" she said again after she saw my angry pout face I was giving her.

"Ugh! Why can't I just go out in some fancy but not royalty fancy instead of this? What if that's what I'm supposed to wear!" I say, I really didn't like the feel of this dress and I knew that I looked bad, and I knew that Georgina was just to excited to see that.

"Have you even seen yourself in this dress?" she asked putting her hands on her hips in frustration.

"No." I said, in a pouty tone.

"Well, then look! Then tell me if you want to take it off!" said Georgina, looking triumphant. I groaned and turned around to see myself in the mirror. When I looked at myself I almost gasped, I looked beautiful. The black, floor-length, puffy dress (It was puffy because I was wearing a pretty small hoop underneath), that was covered in navy blue lace, was short sleeved, and looked amazing on me. I could see Georgina smile triumphantly behind me and I frowned at her.

After about an hour, Georgina was done with my hair and we just started talking.

"I really hope this is what I was supposed to wear," I said nervously, Xavier didn't set a time for when he would come over here and get me so I was very  nervous.

"Don't worry Dani, Xavier is going to think your beautiful and he will let you wear it there. He might even change himself." said Georgina, nudging me making me smile a little. I look out the huge window by my bed so I can see the giant Kingdom Clock, that can be seen from anywhere in the kingdom, to see what time it was. I looked out and saw that it was 6:45.

"Oh come on Xavier, I'm waiting for you here, where are you?" I thought. Right as I finished thinking this we heard a knock on my door.

"Are you ready Dani?" asked Georgina standing up. I stood up after her and nodded.

"I guess so." I said. Georgina opened the door and said something I couldn't make out the Xavier and then let him in. He first looked around the room, then looked at me. When he saw me he looked at me in a daze. I cleared my throat.

"Hum?" he said, waking up from his daze.

"Are we going? I hope this is ok to wear." I said a little nervous.

"Yes, we are going and  that would be perfect to wear." Xavier said with a smile. He walked up to me and offered me his arm and I took it. We then walked though the door that Georgina was holding open and as we passed she whispered "I told you so!" into my ear. I looked back at her and gave her a smirk.

"So what's this restaurant we're going to?'' I asked Xavier.

"It's a surprise." said Xavier with a smile. We had to walk a while until we reached the main gate. When we did get there, there was a beautiful carriage waiting for us there. Xavier helped me up first then he jumped in himself. When he jumped in I realized how small this carriage was, we were sitting next to each other but were almost squished together.

"Well, this is cozy." I said, trying to spark a conversation.

"You think so?" Xavier said turning to look at me. When he turned around, we were so close that our noses almost touched.

"Um, I, uh, sure?" I said, not really knowing what to say. He laughs a little and I smile at my own shyness and nervousness.

"You don't seem so sure about that." he said with a small smirk. I blush a little and then something weird happens. I start to feel a tingling in my hands. I look down at them and they seem fine, but when I look up, everything around us went from black and navy blue to gold and silver, my two favorite colors.

"Whoa, what just happened? It's like it was magic!" said Xavier. I jumped, because I was thinking of how I did this, I forgot he was here.

"I, I, I don't know, m-maybe it wasn't magic. We just went though a long dark tunnel, maybe someone switched everything out for gold and silver?'' I said, trying to convince him that magic when it was.

"You seem like your trying to hide something about what just happened, did you have something to do with this?'' he asked me suspiciously.

"N-no! I, I had n-nothing t-to do wi-with this!" I stutter, which I knew gave me away.

"You did have something to do with this! Who was it!? Was it magic!?" asked Xavier moving to the other side so he could more easily look at me.

"I,I," I begin but right as I am about to tell him everything, the carriage stops, this is my chance to escape from him. Both doors open and he goes out one end and as he jumps out, I jump out too, but on the other side. I hear someone yelling at me to stop but all I do is run. Run, run, run. Run until they loose me, and I can be free of them questioning me.

"Oh, someone, please help me. I can't run forever but I can tell that the men following me can. Please, someone, Georgina, Lovely, somebody, please come help me." I whisper to myself as I run. I can tell that my dress is getting ripped and I'm stumbling every so often over ripped pieces flowing down to the ground. I can't stop to take some of this off, so I just hope that I won't trip and fall, like I did when I was running from the officers before any of this happened.
