Luke POV
"I don't care! I don't want to go to this stupid party!" I yelled, covering my body with the huge pillows of my hotel bed.
"Honestly, don't be so stubborn. Even I am going and I hold a grudge against all of them, too. But there's free drinks, Ashley is there, the food is supposed to be super nice and I bet there are hot chicks in nice dresses. We need to go, Luke."
"Shut up Calum, really. Just shut up. I will not, under any circumstance go to the birthday party of the girl that ripped my heart out."
"Ugh, you're such a whiny baby. You said yourself that partying helps you."
"But not at her birthday party!"
Calum rolled his eyes and brushed through his hair for the hundredth time, even though it looked just the same as before.
"So, are you coming?"
"I don't know... To be honest you shouldn't go either. You're my best friend you have to support me."
"Seriously? What have I done so I can't go to the party?"
"I don't know" I groaned.
"Well, if you don't know at least let me go."
I rolled my eyes for the millionth time this night, murmuring a quiet okay.
He wore black skinny jeans with a white collar shirt and a black bow tie on it and if I didn't know better, I would think he was going to an important event.
"You look like you're attending the party of a queen or something like that. Why is everyone even dressing so fancy, it's just a stupid birthday of this stupid bitch."
"The party for the stupid bitch has a dresscode."
I looked up and saw Ashton entering the room, his angry look piercing through me. He was wearning something very similar to Calum, only that his shirt was black.
"Who let you in?" I groaned, giving Calum an angry glance. He just shrugged and continued doing his hair.
"Why can't you get over your extreme ego and come to the party? You won't see her again in two days so you could at least turn up to her 18th birthday party."
My eyes grew wide as I pushed the pillows off of me, getting up so I was standing directly in front of Ashton. "She's leaving?"
"Yeah you dumbass. That's what I've been trying to tell you the whole time but you never let me speak about her." Ashton rolled his eyes and turned around, making his way out of my hotel room again. "See you at the party. It starts in 10 minutes, tenth floor of the hotel. Don't be late."
I sat back down again, staring at the wall in front of me. She's leaving. In two fucking days.
"Did you know she was leaving?"Calum shrugged, finally finishing his hair. "Yeah, everyone knew."
"Why didn't you tell me?" I said angrily, walking over to my suitcase to find a somewhat fancy looking shirt.
"Like Ashton said, you literally never listened. We tried to tell you many things about her, in hope to make you two get along again but you're such a prick sometimes. You pretend you're deaf and then you get angry when we're finally able to push through you thick wall and tell you what we've been trying for a long time. This is not the first time that happened, remember back when you were in love with-"
"Don't." I said through gritted teeth. I pressed my eyes shut for a short moment, trying to not let old memories hit me. "You promised to never bring her up again."
