After we came home,I felt like a jerk for not speaking,or at least apologizing to Alexis the whole time.

I went to my room,and slumped myself onto my bed.I whipped out my phone,and decided to apologize through text.shameful.

I scrolled through my contacts.I thought she would be the first one to pop up,but instead,I find her in the Q list.I forgot that I changed her contact name to "Queen Alexis".I'll keep it this way.

I tapped on it and typed:

G: hey

G:I'm sorry for EVERYTHING .I hope you could forgive me .

I stared at my phone,anxious for her response.

To pass time,I took a nap.

ALEXIS

After my mom and I spoke about the wedding, I immediately changed the subject.

"yeah,so " I paused "could I get a new phone ?"

"What's wrong with your other one?" She asked furrowing her left brow

"Someone stole it"

"Really Alexis?but since you're like,an only child,i don't see why not" she said with a smile

"I wouldn't have to get anyone else a phone" she chuckled.

I didn't think that she'd get it now,but i was wrong.She hopped into her car,leaving me behind.

She rolled the window down and shouted " it'll be a surprise!"

"Better not be a flip phone" I said to myself

to make time pass , I watched a little bit of AHS on Netflix.

My mom came back by the time I was done with ep.4

"Alexis,look what I got you.It's a really nice color"

I darted towards her,and saw an iPhone 6s in her hands.sweet.I used to have the 4s.Major upgrade.

"Thank you thank you thank you mom!" I squealed

"You're welcome,and by the way,you have the same carrier and phone number" she said while patting my back

she gave me the box,and I immediately configured its settings.

I instantly received a message after setting it up.

It was from an unknown number

unknown :Hey
unknown:I'm sorry for EVERYTHING.I hope you could forgive me.

I then typed

A:who is this?

I didn't expect an immediate response,but I got one.

Unknown: it's me.Grayson.

I just remembered that I blocked him after our argument.

A: Why should I? After what you've said to me?

G: please ?

A: whatever

G:is that a yes?

A: if it is,will you leave me alone?

G: maybe,maybe not

A:I'll take it . Goodbye fugly

I exited imessage and downloaded a few apps,and when they finished downloading,I turned off my phone and went upstairs to grab the WNBA envelope.

I filled out the documents,but forgot to mail them out,so I called Ethan and asked him for a ride.

"Sure,come over " he replied

I thanked him and made my way to his house.I saw him sitting on a bench near his front door.

"You ready?" He asked while getting up.

"Yeah"

"Ay,what's that?" He asked while glaring at the envelope

I showed him the logo and his jaw dropped

"I'm not surprised.Almost everyone in school knew you'd make it."he said with a smirk

"Mhm,but sadly Dakota was picked too" I replied with a disgusted expression.

He laughed,and then we hopped in to his car.

A few minutes later,we arrived at the post office.Ethan insisted on dropping off,so I just stayed in the car listening to music and going on my phone .
Ethan didn't take that long,so he came back only 2 minutes later.

"Wow,that was quick" I stated as he entered the car

"Not too many people came here anymore" he replied buckling himself up.

"Maybe you should buckle yourself up too" he said with concern

He seemed very serious,so I followed his order.

"Thank you"

We drove off to our houses ,but made a stop at McDonalds because it was 4:00 and we didn't eat since we left the wedding at around 2:00 .

"I'll get two hot fudge sundaes,two large fries,and two big macs" Ethan said as he spoke into the intercom.

"Your order will be twenty-seven dollars and ninety nine cents" the server announced

We drove to the first window and paid,then got our meal at the next.

"Thanks Eth" I replied

"Anything for my best friend"

I thought it was cute how he called me that .

He handed me the food,and we went home.He insisted that we eat at his house .

We pulled up into his driveway and got out of his car.

He grabbed his house keys out of his pockets and unlocked the door.

We entered and walked to the kitchen.We ate our food,and when we finished we spoke to each other about the randomest things, then he brought up an odd topic.

"I know this is random but,remember what my aunt said about us .Looking like a uh"

"Couple?" I murmured

"Yeah.What she said was on my mind for nearly the whole day" he replied softly

"It was kind of on mine too"

"What do you think would happen if that actually came true?"he questioned while taking a bite off his burger.

" We would probably get married,have kids,grow old with each other.I dunno.The possibilities are endless .But,that can't happen.Your fans will disapprove of our relationship and I'd eventually get broken hearted" I replied

"If we did date,I would always love you,no matter what.You'd be my ride or die,my one in a million,my princess.Basically,my everything." He said causing me to blush.

"I'm not Grayson"

"I know you're not.You guys are total opposites,but anything can happen"

I said

Our little conversations were always interesting. He always found ways to make me smile.Maybe that was the reason why I fell for him in the first place.
