Kirstie's POV
After the situation that occurred in "detention" I felt sick to my stomach. I have to talk to Mitch. He seemed like the biggest mess out of all of us as we exited the room in silence. Avi went in the opposite direction of all of us even though his next class was the same as mine. But I took that opportunity and I ran to Mitch. I walked beside him silently before he tugged me to the side of the hallway.

"What?" He asked softly, "what do you want now? Do you want to create more drama? Because I'm sure Avi would love to see you next to me after that tense argument." I gulped back tears and shook my head.

"I didn't mean to any of this to happen Mitch. If you hadn't of kissed me in my room and at that club, none of this would've happened do you understand? You're blaming me for something I didn't start," Mitch now had tears running down his face.

"Why did you kiss back then?" He asked as tears rolled down his pale face, "why did you make me fall in love with you when you didn't love me back?" He threw his hands in the air. "Who am I kidding? You don't even love Avi," he said bluntly, shaking his head.

"Don't say that!" I snapped, " I love Avi with all of my heart and you shouldn't be going around saying that like its nothing," Mitch nodded his head, his eyes showing helplessness.

"I mean everything I say Kirstie, and before I say it I make sure it's true." He said quietly, "I have to go to class. Feel free to not walk with me if you hate me so much," he said before turning around and walking away, not even making a sound. I gulped down my tears and sighed. Today has been a mess. I then decided to text Avi because I had made a decision.

Kirstie: Meet me outside after school. I'll be there waiting.

I didn't wait for Avi to reply, I just walked to class and shut off my phone in the process.

Waiting outside for Avi was the most slow going thing. It didn't help that my anxiety was through the roof as I sat on the grass is the my backpack slung on my shoulder. I closed my eyes and sighed. After awhile I heard footsteps approach me.

"You wanted to talk to me?" A familiar deep voice asked as the figure sat down next to me. I turned to face Avi and put a hand on his knee.

"Avi, I don't think we can do this anymore," Avi furrowed his eyebrows with a confused look on his face.

"What do you mean?" He asked gazing at me. I shook my head.

"I mean that there has been so much drama lately that I just think we need to break up,"  at the end of my sentence my breath was uneven and my voice was squeaky. Avi sat there shocked.

"You love Mitch," he whispered, "I get. I knew this relationship was going to get thrown to trash. You always dump guys for other guys Kirstie. The guys put their life on you and you dump them as quick as you get them," he shook his head angrily and stood up. "I'm done Kirstie, done. Now I'm going to go tell Mitch to not do anything stupid while he's with you otherwise he will turn into a hell monster." Avi spat before running towards Esther's vehicle. I broke down as soon as he left.

"That's not it Avi," I whispered to myself, "I'm afraid of losing them as quick as I get them. I just always end up hurting them," I then got up and walked towards my car slowly and silently. Today has been the worst.

Mitch's POV
I saw what happened between Avi and Kirstie. And that was all there was to it, well not entirely.
