Next thing I knew, Andrew's lips were pressed onto mine. I didn't know what to do because it was so sudden.
I felt the urge to pull back, but then I also wanted the kiss to last, so, I just went with it.
Our kiss lasted a few seconds longer until a voice suddenly called our names.
That's when we both broke off the kiss and ended up smiling at each other.
"Was this your first kiss?" Andrew softly asked, raising his eyebrows.
I shyly nodded my head, causing him quietly chuckle. "Oh, well it's honor to be your first kiss then."
Still speechless about what just happened, I continued to slightly nod my head.
From there, Andrew began to walk back into Starbucks. "I'll go get our drinks, be right back."
"Okay," I quietly replied, still smiling.
Once the door closed behind him I sat down on a bench outside and put my face in my hands.
I could feel my cheeks heating up and the smile definitely wasn't going away anytime soon.
"Heyyyyyyy looks like Talia has something to share," I heard a voice say from in front of me.
Keeping my hands on my face I peeked through my fingers and looked to see who was talking.
It was Sierra and Preston, walking towards me after getting out of a car.
"You guys finally got here," I jumped up and hugged Sierra, almost knocking her down.
"Whoa, chill," she laughed.
"Sorry."
"Let's go order, where's Andrew?" Preston asked me and I pointed inside.
"Hey will you get me something Preston? I need to ask Talia something," Sierra asked him, only getting a nod in return before he walked inside.
"Soooo?" She questioned me with a smirk.
"Uh I had my first kiss?" My cheeks heated up again.
"Aww, my dear friend had her first kiss," Sierra smiled at me and started to walk towards the door.
"Come on let's go join the guys."
I froze. I wasn't ready to go back in. Not with Andrew in there.
At least I wouldn't be alone, now that Preston and Sierra are here.
After a few seconds of thinking I ran after Sierra and found them all at a table in the corner. My cup was sitting in front of an empty spot next to Andrew.
After slowly sitting down, and everyone watching me, Preston decided to talk, "We forgot to invite Steve man."
"Oh shoot Macy too," I added.
"Oh well, they're probably fine on their own," Sierra said, receiving an shrug from Andrew.
He was really quiet and it was starting to scare me.
"Anyways, you guys did great tonight," I said to change the subject. Also nudging Andrew to see if he agree.
No response.
This isn't awkward at all..
"Thanks," the other two said in unison. We all looked at each other and started laughing. Not sure why this is so funny, but it is.
"Anyways, we need to hang out tomorrow guys, but let's not forget anyone," Andrew said glancing at me.
"Sounds like a great idea, so do I need to give any rides," Taylor said as she put her hand in my shoulder, causing me to jump and slightly scream, receiving looks from employees and other customers.
In my defense I didn't know she was back and it scared me.
"Hahaha, that was great, anyways it's late I should probably get you guys back," she said glancing at her phone.
"Ok let's go guys," Preston said. We all stood up and started to file out, when I felt another hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah?" I turned around to look at Andrew.
"Hold on," Andrew stopped and waited for the others to leave before asking, "Will you be my girlfriend?"
He looked so nervous when he asked, and so was I. Of course, I didn't know how to respond to him. I never know how to respond to him.
Gently, I grabbed his hand that was still on my shoulder, and held it with mine.
You need to say something quick, you can't just leave him standing there Talia.
"Yes," I whispered through a smile.
Andrew then pulled me into a tight hug, neither of us moving away from.
"Are you guys coming? We're waiting on you."
Aww Preston ruined the moment, thanks Preston.
"Oh yea, sorry man, let's go Talia," Andrew said as he ended the hug but quickly entwined are fingers. In response Preston smirked and followed us to the car.
The car ride was completely silent so I decided to reach forward and turn on the radio. With the faint sound of the radio and the warm heater I laid my head on Andrew's shoulder.
Since Andrew was the last one we would drop off, and Preston was gone and we just drove out of Sierra's driveway, me and Andrew were sitting alone in the backseat.
Before I could start a conversation, like I wanted to, the darkness of sleep enfolded me.
"Hey, Talia, I have to go," Andrew softly whispered trying to wake me up. Startled I sat up quickly.
"Sorry Andrew, I didn't even realize I was so tired," I smiled at him weakly as he unbuckled his seatbelt.
"It's okay, I'll see you tomorrow. I'm sure Sierra will text you what we're doing," he returned the smile before leaning over and planting a kiss on my cheek.
Once again, I sat there in shock, a little less than last time, but still not being able to do anything besides watch him exit the car and walk inside his house.
