"Okay so, when we were out on the field, Steve wasn't feeling good and had to sit out," Sierra began to explain.

"Mr. Lesser asked if he needed to go to the nurse and Steve said yes. So, he asked the closest person near him to take Steve. And you'll never guess who that person was."

I gasped and let out a chuckle, "Oh!
It was Macy wasn't it?"

Sierra laughed and nodded her head before continuing.

"So yeah, when Mr. Lesser called Macy to do it, she was all shy and stuff. But she actually did it!" Sierra exclaimed, sounding surprised.

I smirked and laughed, "Well, she cares about him so of course she would do it."

"You have a point there," Sierra agreed, laughing as well.

"Oh! I missed out on an important part!" She exclaimed, slightly jumping in her seat.

I didn't bother saying anything, that way she could just go right into saying it.

"When Macy was escorting Steve to the nurse, he had to put his arm around her and-"

I unintentionally, yet loudly, pounded my hands on my desk. "Aww! Really? That's cute," I smiled.

Sierra nodded her head and chuckled. "It was cute."

"Man, I wish I was there to see it for myself," I sighed, picturing Steve and Macy together.

That's when Taylor barged into my room.

"Seriously, Taylor? Don't you know how to knock?" I asked, calling her out.

I hope she didn't overhear our conversation.

I heard Sierra laughing as Taylor sat down on my bed. "Hey Taylor!" Sierra waved.

"Hi Sierra!" Taylor replied, completely ignoring me.

"So, what are you guys talking about?" She asked.

"We're talking about the football game tomorrow," I answered looking over at her.

Taylor nodded her head before asking another question. "Oh okay, are you going?"

I nodded my head, but before I could say anything, Sierra spoke first. "Hold up. Taylor, Talia didn't tell you anything?"

That's when both Taylor and I turned our attention to Sierra.

"Wait! Sierra I-"

Taylor immediately jumped off of my bed and shoved my chair so it rolled off to the side.

"She didn't! What happened?" Taylor eagerly replied, standing in front of my laptop.

Man, you know what? Whatever, everyone's going to find out and know somehow..

I didn't bother shoving Taylor out of the way, so I just stayed in my chair and listened.

"Talia's going to the football game with Andrew tomorrow," Sierra announced, causing Taylor to look at me with a surprised face.

I nervously smiled and nodded my head.

I hope she doesn't tell dad..

"Really? What exactly happened?" Taylor asked, looking back at Sierra.

Sierra let out a chuckle before answering, "Long story short, he asked her if she wanted to hang out with him at the game."

"Aw Talia's scored a date with Andrew," Taylor teased as she and Sierra laughed.

"It's not a date," I protested, folding my arms.

Taylor nodded her head. "If it's not a date, then what is it?" Sierra smirked.

I squinted my eyes and stared at both of them. "Two friends simply hanging out, nothing more."

"Whatever, I'm going get going now." Sierra said, preparing to end the call.

"Aw okay, bye Sierra!" Taylor and I waved as she waved back.

"See you tomorrow!"

"With Andrew!" Sierra quickly added right before she ended the call.

Well then, I could see why she waited last minute to say that.

As soon as Sierra was gone from my laptop screen, Taylor looked at me.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Taylor asked, sounding both disappointed and mad.

"Sorry, I just didn't want a lot of people to know," I reasoned, making it up.

"Not even me? Your closest cousin?"

Just as I was about to reply, my phone went off. Both of us looked at each other before diving towards my phone.

Unfortunately, Taylor was closer to it than I was, so she got it first.

"Ooh! It's a text from Andrew," She exclaimed, looking at me with a smirk.

"Taylor give it to me!" I shouted, reaching for my phone.

As she was attempting to take my phone out of my reach, Taylor began to read his message.

"Hey, tomorrow, do you want to meet at the ticket booths or inside the stadium?"

I finally got my phone after jumping on Taylor and pulling her arm down.

"Ha! You don't know my password so you can't reply to it," I boasted, sticking my tongue out.

Suddenly, my door opened again. This time it was dad. "What are you two doing? I can hear you from downstairs."

Taylor and I froze in place before she rolled over, causing me to get off her.

"Nothing," We both said in unison, adding a really cheesy smile.

Dad looked at us in confusion before walking away from the door.

Once he was gone and down the stairs, I let out a sigh of relief.

"Don't tell dad anything."

Taylor nodded her head as she gave me a smile and a wink.

As long as he doesn't find out I'm going with Andrew, I'll be okay.
