The Only One

Chapter 4: The Party

"Ops sorry" Scott laughed who is one of Blaze's friends as he tripped me. I got back up and looked at Blaze who was also laughing, I roll my eyes.

"Some brother he is" I thought as I get on to the bus. I finally get home from that hellhole known as my school. I wasn't expecting to see anyone that wasn't staff but I walked into the kitchen my father was standing there.

"Ah Liliafang you're home" he stated I hold back a sarcastic comment and just nod my head. My father and I weren't on good terms and haven't been for some time for obvious reasons. He tried not to talk to me when he could and I avoided him at all cost. I don't think I could ever forgive him for what he did to Mum.

"Well you better get ready for the party," he continued " Do you have a dress?" 

"Yes I do Father" I reply quietly 

"Good now go" he said calmly. I rush up the stairs to my room and take out my only dress. It was a Chinese dress that my mother left me in her will. it was black with a simple red lining with two simple shapes on the side. I smile as I remember my mother making it.

"Isn't beautiful?" I ask out loud to Plasma "Mother made it. I'm so glad that it fits me"

"It is" Plasma said in awe

"Ah Lily thats beautiful" I look around in shock just to see Mary standing at my door "I thought I could help you since the party is in an hour" I smile at her. Mary has been so kind to me and I am thankful for it.

"Thank you" I said 

"Its not a problem now go take a shower" she commanded with he hands on her hips. I laugh as I rush to the bathroom. Once I had gotten back into my room Mary pushed me into a chair and started on my hair and make up. Half an hour later she helped me into my dress.

"Now look in the mirror" Mary whispered "You look beautiful" I turned and look at the girl in the mirror. Her red hair is in a bun with a few pieces curled. The dress clings perfectly on her curves and make her green eyes pop. Her make up is very natural but makes her face have a healthy glow. I have not looked this healthy in a long time.  

"Thats not me is it" I said staring at the mirror making Mary laugh

"It is us" Plasma stated "And we look amazing". I blushed at her words 

"MARY!!!" I hear my father yell up the stairs "IS SHE READY!" 

"Yes sir" Mary replied "Come on they're leaving" I nod and start my way down the stairs my father looks at me in surprise before his eyes darken.

"You're wearing your mothers dress" he says before turning away. I am about to reply when I hear Julia's high pitch voice 

"Daddy?" My father turns and looks past me 

" Oh Julia you look stunning" he said to my sister 

"Thank you daddy" Julia smile and gave my father a kiss on the cheek. I turn to see what she is wearing and almost choke. She was wear the sluttest dress I have ever seen. Her boobs only just fit in the dress and you could almost see her underwear. How did she even put it on? 

"Well don't you look handsome"  Liza voice jolts me from my disgust. I look at Blaze who was wearing a white shirt and black pant. He was also staring at his sister though not with happy eyes

"Lets go" My father said opening the door.  Julia turns to look at me as though I am garbage

"She's coming in that old thing!" She says rudely turning her nose up "She walking right?"

"Julia!" Liza cried shocked at her daughters action " Of course not. She coming in the car" 

"Oh.....I was only joking mum right Lily" Julia said turning to look at me. He voice sounds innocent but her eyes scream 'I Hate You' 

"Yeah we joke around like this all the time" I mutter 

"Good now get in the car" Liza smiled sweetly. Liza pretty blind to everything that goes on in the house. I hold nothing against the woman. Its not her fault my father hurt my mother. It didn't take us to long to get to the party and when we did my father told me to get out and make my own way in, translation go away we don't know you. Please do they think I'm stupid?

"Yo Liliafang come and dance with me" Skylar yelled at me as soon as I got in the door. Soon I was dancing just as wildly as everyone else was. Suddenly we here the Alpha Marco's voice echo around the room

"Everybody your soon to be Alpha Logan!" He called. We all turn to see him come in. I gasp 

"Mate" I hear Plasma whisper. He had soft brown eyes and brown hair that almost covered his eyes.

"Wow" I murmur under my breath. He looks around the room until his eyes land on me. I see happiness and love pass into his but are almost suddenly changed to one of anger and hate. He gestured me to follow him. Confusion fills me as I look at him.

" I'll be right back" I tell Skylar 

"Alright" She replies with a flick of her wrist. I push past the crowd outside to were Logan is standing. The moonlight hits him and I look at the sky to see a full moon. 

"You, of all people why you" I hear him mutter. Something bad is going to happen I feel it in my heart 

"What do you mean" I whisper looking at him my eyes already starting to water. 

"How could you be my mate!" He yells " You're weak, pathetic  and most importantly ugly" I feel the tears stream down my face but I only feel numb. I know whats coming the words that he is going to speak.

"I, Logan Allen reject you, Liliafang Rouge" he said more calm than before. I feel my heart shatter and emptiness fills me but Plasma was having none of it, I look at him straight in the eyes. 

"So what now" I whisper angrily "Will you tell the pack you haven't found your mate or will you say that someone else is?!" 

"I...." he starts but I interrupted him 

"And here I thought that mates were suppose to love you, I guess I was wrong" And with that I ran away from him. I ran home, up the stairs to my room. I rip off my dress and put on a T-shirt and some sweats. I take out a bag that Skylar had given me. It was an bottom less bag so I only need the one. I put all my clothes into it, my laptop, my Ipod, My wallet, my sketch pad, a notepad, and all my photos of my mother. I take out a some paper and start writing 

To whom may concern 

I know that no one will find this tonight or even tomorrow but when you do I will be gone. I can't take being here anymore unloved and now broken.  Dad you've never loved me for I remind you too much of my mother. Julia and Blaze, you never wanted me here in the first place. Liza I'm glad that you are there for my dad and I will never be upset that if he hadn't found you everything would make sense but in a way they do. I don't expect you to try to find me. I was never that importent anyway. Skylar you are the best friend that I have ever had and I will tell you soon why I had to leave because I am bringing the notepad.

So this is goodbye, I love you all even if you don't love me

I wipe away the tears that have now stained my letter, pick up my bag and jump out the window. I put my bag down and shift. I pick up my bag with my teeth and run off never looking back.
