Ugh...

Three weeks later I was encountering the most craziest things ever.

I was throwing up.

My emotions changed every 3 seconds.

I craved weird foods like peanut butter and jelly splattered on my dill pickles, and more recently, relish on my pancakes...

And to make matters more stressful, I skipped a period.

I felt drowsy everyday.

I got worried I might be pregnant, so I decided to make a doctor's appointment.

I told my doctor all of my symptoms, and he led me to the ultrasound. I got pretty shaken up. He got me situated and spreads that cold jelly on my stomach. Then he checked my stomach all around and saw...

A itty bitty fetus. A 4 week old fetus. A living thing was inside of me. My emotions dropped. I was going to have a baby. And Vic was the father.

"Wow, look at it, how small it is..." I exclaim softly.

"Why yes. Isn't it cute?" The doctor asked.

"It is, being a 4 week old fetus, it's actually adorable."

He sent me medication and a couple of fetus pictures. "Come back in 3 weeks," he told me.

I left the office and I was screaming internally. I was excited about this baby, but what would Vic say? He's a rock star, I thought, of course he has the money to pay for our child, but what about the time? Or will he even want to be a father? Will he kick me to the curb? Will he not want to see me or his child ever again? But what about my studies? Will the baby get in the way with it? Should I get an abortion? Should I just give it up for adoption? Floods of worries overtook me, I felt like I should just crawl in my bed and just stay there. I

No. I went to straight to Vic's house and knocked on the door.

He opens the door. "Hello, Mystic." He has a smile on his face, and he embraces me.

"We need to talk."

He lets me in and I sit on the couch. He sits next to me. "Go ahead, babe. What's on your mind?"

I sigh and look down at my stomach.

"Vic, I... I uh... I..."

"It's okay, doll face. It's just us. Don't be afraid. You can tell me anything."

He takes my hands and rubs them. He could tell I was scared and tensed up.

"I'm pregnant." Those two magic words finally spilled from my mouth.

Vic stares at me, his face looking flushed. "Babe... We used a condom. How?"

I showed him the pictures of the 4 week old fetus.

"I didn't lie. I have a baby in my uterus, and we are going to be parents."

Vic took a closer look at the pictures.

"Well then, babe..."

My stomach was doing flip flops.

"Yes, Victor?"

"... Looks like I, I mean we got a little miracle on the way." He comes closer to me and touches my stomach, and soon starts to rub it gently. I feel his happiness radiating like the sun's heat, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Is it a boy or a girl, Mystic?"

"I don't know. I have to see the doctor in 3 weeks. But I got questions. I still have to finish college, and what will happen when you go on tours and I go to class?"

Vic thought for a moment. "Hmm... Would you like to move in with me?"

"Like, move into your house?"

"Of course, why not? You can continue your journalism studies, the baby can be raised here, and when we're both busy, we'll have my parents look after them, since your parents live out in Sacramento. It will be just fine."

"But, what about...."

"Marriage?" Vic interrupts. He took the damn word right out of my mouth. "We'll deal with that later. Right now, we have you and this baby. Would you like to move in with me?"
